So If and he's not my favorite WR Q Johnson is there you would pass him over for a LT or CB??
Is anyone anywhere saying Johnston is a top player? I haven't seen that.

Based on the post combine mock drafts, the 3 guys who seem to be rising higher and will likely continue to rise are LT Anton Harrison (who stood out in all facets), LT Darnell Wright, and CB Joey Porter (who combined strength, length, and size with decent athleticism). Any of these 3 would be more than fine at #14.

Not a huge fan of Darnell Wright @ 14. Or even in the first round. He was an RT at Tennessee and that's where I think he'll stay in the pros. And I think we need LT much more. Trent Brown was miscast @ LT last year.

If we do settle for an RT in the 1st I'm going with Dawand Jones (Ohio State). Ideally after a trade down from #14.

Harrison is decent. But I think he's a reach in the mid-1st.

If we miss out on Paris Johnson & Broderick Jones I'd be quite happy with Porter @ #14. And hope Harrison or Blake Freeland last till our 2nd round pick.

Harrison though seems to have really impressed recently, both in games and at the combine.

I read somewhere that he's a reeeaally good blocker. I was like... uh oh.
Do you think Trey Palmer lasts until #46?? Also that Michael Wilson from Stanford looks like player thoughts...

IF we they take a RT @14 that is just Horrible value they better get a guy who can Immediately play LT @ 14.

i would be really happy with any tackle LT or RT, who can lock up one tackle spot. A RT who can dominate 1 vs 1 and built a strong core with onwenu would be great value at 14, for example look at wirfs, ramczyk...if you draft a RT who plays on their level you got yourself great value with the pick imo.

You can get a decent RT in 2nd - 3rd or 4th I would hate one in the First knowing our current situation. We have a RT already in Trent Brown.

i don't know about brown..he wasn't good last season...hope we can get two new OT, at least two OT who can seriuos compete with brown for the starting job

Agreed. We need two real OTs, and Brown is a backup or released. Hopefully one OT is a FA and one is a draft choice.

This hyper-athletic TE is 6' 7" with an amazing 40" vertical:

He can just wander into the end zone and be essentially uncoverable by just about anyone given a throw at the right height.
