those calls last night are the reason i was talking about, with regards to that post "can we root for mahomes now" once again the refs were bending over backwards to give the chiefs second chances.

"oh **** they didn't challenge in time, lets call a ref time out even though philly got a play off, and redo the down... ah nice there is the challenge flag"

"close game, and the eagles just made a huge stop after mahomes overthrew his guy with 2 minutes to go? lets give em a free first down with a call so bad the announcers are going to mention it"

Just super bummed, we had an all time great offensive battle, and it got ruined by two REALLY bad calls.
was pretty easy to see it coming though. they were going to make sure golden boy won no matter what

first they cancel the CIN/BUF game to give KC the bye and #1 seed. CIN was looking good that game but it was still early and BUF could have easily won

KC vs CIN AFCCG ******** calls

and now last night

“Yeah but Philly could have played better defense blah blah blah…”

“Well technically it was a penalty yak yak yak…”

Mind-numbingly stupid takes.

Regardless of what happened prior, the call decided the game.

Penalties can be called on virtually every snap of a game.

The penalty decided the game. Full stop. It’s ok to admit it.

Don’t care, **** the eagles

This was far more shady than any pass interference call.

Arizona’s a desert right?

Hosing down the field was an old Parcell’s trick. It works…

So Philly was guaranteed to go down and score the game tying field goal after the penalty (and assuming Butker makes a chip shot FG)? Got it.

Was the game poorly officiated? Eh... It was fairer than I thought it would be... Still wasn't in the top 10 of "best officiated games ever"

Was it the worst officiated game? Nah... That honor belongs to the stealers/Seahawks tilt...

Is the game rigged? Nope. Not one iota of a chance the NFL is rigged on a league wide basis. Way too much money to lose. The owners won't jeopardize the multi billion dollar empire for a few fleeting moments of fame and glory

You just don't like Mahomes. If those BS calls went against KC, you'd be doing cartwheels.

Alright Sherlock Holmes why wasn’t the PI called on browns catch that the refs mysteriously gave the eagles extra time to challenge
Okay then explain the most egregious no call PI in the whole game that killed a Chiefs drive and gave the Eagles a chance to go up 14 points. You can nitpick any individual instance to feel better and ignore everything else.

There were three extremely close replay reviews and 2 of the three went in favor of Philadelphia, a huge no call, probably the biggest in the game, went in favor of the Philly. The refs did not cause Philadelphia to spot the Chiefs 14 points by having Hurts fumble and by having the special teams botch a kickoff return.

Explain all that first. Again this is becoming a massive whiny cope thread

Do you guys just start replacing old memories with new ones after 1 year of memories fills up the buffer?

Kc got alot of help this year. Handed the 1 seed rather than finding a way to resolve the buf/cin game. The afcc garbage, and now this. I give Kc credit for putting themselves in position year after year to get these kind of breaks. What im hoping is that this evens out now and they spend a few years getting some really bad breaks for a change.

I still don’t think its rigged or that theres a big conspiracy to tilt the game to one team. I wouldn’t watch if i did. But all this better be talked about for a long time , if we have to hear about the tuck rule, a play called CORRECTLY according to the rule 20+ years later. Theres times when you just gotta swallow that whistle. Compare that play to what baltimore defenders did the end of their sb with sf or what the giants ol did on the tyree catch. The call is not defensible, and are we to believe kc didn’t do that even ONE time the entire game to aj brown or devonta smith?

It was a good game. it’s a shame a bad call decided the game and just as many people are gonna talk about that as the Chiefs winning another SB.

For tainted Id have to go with Steelers-Seahawks. This game was one call that one was bad calls all game.

Agreed, the Seahawks had zero shot in that game. Not sure how anyone could overcome that kind of tilt. The eagles got smacked around for a 21-3 stretch unaided by refs prior to this call. Kinda brought this on themselves.

Bad call but eagles blew it with the d td, punt return and awful second half d

Chiefs are just that good. I know we want to trash them but let's face it. 31 other franchises tell us how our championships have asterisks. Why do we decide to sink to their level?
Absolutely, I don't really get why we are dumping on KC, I mean what we did for 2 decades will never be replicated, it just won't!!! KC has 2 Superbowls.. we have 6,

Right now instead of worrying about KC we need to turn our attention as fans to the off- season.. all eyes are on the organization to see if they will be as committed as they appear to get back into a contender.. anything can happen year to year with a team..

KC won the game utilizing the patriots offense!!!!!!!

Exactly right. Not sure why it's hard for some to accept. This is the opposite of "whining." It's saying let the players decide the game, not the middle-aged dudes blowing whistles.

Let me guess, spygate is nothing. This is exactly what 31 other franchises say about the Pats.
31 other franchises also say that Rex Ryan is a better coach than BB without Brady. Sounds like you believe that’s true if it comes from them…

This thread is about this Chiefs and Mahomes and you as Patriots fan chime in on spygate. You obviously sympathize with the 31 other fan bases. Get your trolling ass out of here. Pats fan my ass.

I thought the game was perfectly called. Except for that horrific last flag. And it was an amazingly bad call.

BTW everyone is saying Mahomes is so great because he won with no weapons and no QB has done that before.

Brady won with Patten and Troy Brown, or Givens and Branch.

He didn't have Kelce.

What Mahomes did last night was amazing, don't get me wrong. He was excellent. But it HAS been done before.
