Report: Mac was reaching out to other coaches about his frustrations with the offense

The guy who threw 3 more INTs in game 17.

But, its not his fault.
No the confused aureonautics major and the hall of fame coach who drew up the play in the dirt... but hey it's his first time calling offense he'll be alright .....

Two of them weren't.
The jags are a prime example of how vital coaching is for young QBs.. we should have been on thier trajectory, but our coach decided he was doing what's best for the team..

Mac would run crying to Kraft.

Now we agree. Mac has to stop having temper tantrums on the field. He was much better at that after the Raiders game. If he returns to acting out in 2023 it will be a huge disappointment.

People act like he's the only QB in the history of the sport to voice his displeasure with calls/coaches/whatever on the field or the sideline.

That is part of his make-up.. his passion his love for the game, obviously his frustration boiled over from how the offense was all season.. not going to beat on the same sentiment as we know it was probably one of BB worst coaching decisions and seasons since he's been with the patriots... I believe in Mac.. he was drafted on his accuracy, his football intelligence, his decision making.. he showed he could play at a high level As rookie.. everything was done to regress him this past season..

Never said that. But he has to control his emotions on the field. Passion is OK, but Mac crossed the line into frustration which means his emotions were getting the best of him. He needed to dial it back which he did. I hope the issue does not resurface.

Who gets to decide where that line is? Maybe it wasn't a good look to you. I thought he was justified being angry at the crappy coaching. He's not a robot out there.

We all get to decide where the line is as it is an opinion and guess like 90%+ of the stuff on message boards. He might be justified but I think it disrupts anyone's performance. When he stopped getting overly emotional over the last few games I thought he was more focused and saw the field better.

Agree, but there’s no reason to think he will stop. He’s been like that his entire playing career. He may just run a bit hot.

Hot is OK. If it becomes frustration and anger, it will cloud his head.

Running hot is better than not giving a crap. Much easier to coach (there's that word again) someone to reign it in than having to force someone to have the fire necessary to be successful. Dan Marino vs Jay Cutler were both physically gifted, one was successful on the field and respected by his teammates, one was not. You could make the argument that Marino's success was capped because he never got control of his emotions.
