Actually, there were reports out of NY after Judge got into an altercation with his OL coach, Marc Colombo, leading to Columbo’s dismissal, that Judge used to regale the coaching room with his opinions that Brady was just a product of good coaching.

Wickersham’s book includes a similar account coming from Patriot coaches. I’ve concluded it’s probably true and in no small part explains the hideously foolish Patricia/Judge experiment.

In fairness, that was the game where Patricia decided in the first half to take every one of his instincts on how to call an offense and do the exact opposite. That was the only time all year Jones had a real NFL offense to run.
