As much as I don't like the Bills fans I am cheering for them over Miami, and probably to win it all. They can be obnoxious, but most fan bases can be. At least they aren't as bad as KC/Baltimore/Philly and a number of others that are really bad.
And at least they aren't like Dolphin fans, who honestly don't care that much. Pretty much any on the lower south east or south west coast doesn't have a fan base that cares all that much with very few exceptions.
I have not been commenting on this board much this year, and part of that has to due with our own fan base. I find it amazing how delusional have allowed d ourselves to become. Many of us are like the fans we use to laugh at who talked about contending/beating us when we were in our heyday with Brady/BB. It just never happened and we wondered how these fans could not see how middling their team was. That's our fan base right now. A lot of people here probably simply don't want to believe it. But at this point after this season i think I'll be able to post here more and not worry about getting shot down for being rightly critical.
But back to WC weekend. I think the Bills should and will win. I hate the new format btw. Monday night games? Really? Only 1 bye seems to screw things up and letting 14 teams in dilutes the meaning of the playoffs. Too many of these teams are just here to lose as opposed to having a chance to win and a lot of the this format falls into just going through the motions until we get there. It also allows more chances for upsets of average teams over good teams that actually had a shot, which would only make the final 8 less interesting, not more. And that use to be my favorite week of football. But I'm worried it will turn into 2 games were 2 top teams stomp 2 scrub teams that got lucky and ruin half the card.
In a twist, a lot of really bad/subpar QBs seem to be in the league and it shows in these playoffs as many have issues throwing passes to open WRs. I really don't see the team in the NFC who challenges the Bills or KC now that the Bucs/Brady seem unable to get it together. Unless they simply stop them defensively. I see it as a likely 2 team race, and I hope the Bills don't lose, as that to me just makes KC the far away favorite.
The only D that could do it is SF, but do I trust them to keep KC or even the Bills down enough to win? Not really. They couldn't last time haha.
