We're on to the OFF-Season

Tomlin would have to go 158-34 in his next 192 games to 'catch Bill' in 450 games.
Why does he need to catch him in 450 games? Bill hasn't caught Halas in his 318 regular season wins (497 games), and he needs 20 more wins to do it. That's why you need to use winning % of which Halas is at .682%. Bill will never match that winning % going at .500% per clip.

So that you can say youve never had a losing season? Im not dogging tomlin, hes a great coach. But his last 12 seasons, 10 seasons with big ben: 3 playoff wins (2 against backup qbs), one afc championship appearance which they got blown out. We are kidding ourselves if we are saying our fanbase wouldn’t be irate with results like that over 10 years, just because we can say we never had a losing season?

You are dogging Tomlin, and it's ridiculous.

They didn't have a lot of them during the dynasty years
Brady/ Gronk 2017
Gilly / Slater 2019

You won't believe who the last ones are:
Gunner / Bailey 2020

LMFAO

Strange will be fine and and Thorton was hurt, missed 1/2 the year and was in a ****ty offense
Strange is a fine player. It’s not the problem. The problem is that imo it was possible to find a player of the same caliber later in the draft that would have allowed us to pick an impact player with our 1st round pick.

Thornton played 70% of the games. He didn’t miss half the year. Jury is still out but I had issue with his route running. His footwork or lack there of near the sidelines and I think multiple times he continues to run instead of sitting in the zone which goes into the route running and I think he needs to bulk up a bit otherwise he will continue to get jammed at the line of scrimmage by the CB in press man

Tomlin handled AB well. That makes him a great coach

He started 9 of 13 games plays over 500 snaps in a **** offense and his rookie year and hes a failure?

People beg for youth and develop talent but don't have the patience to let them.

It wasn't 20 years but he did have an elite QB. And once Cohwer wore off he wasted the rest of his elite years.

There is Tom Brady on one level, all alone, and there is every other QB who's played since Montana, on lower levels. People here say things like "People don't give Belichick credit for his wins" and the like, but they turn around an deride other top coaches for winning less with a lesser QB. It's as if people still can't admit that Brady makes that difference even after these past 3 years, and it's embarrassing to read.

Steelers fans have constantly called for Tomlin to be fired over the years.

Which goes to show you that fan bases are alike all over. The "negativity" here is quite normal.

Belichick had a rough year this season, but I shudder to think what we get when he does leave.

And I got banned from a thread for saying bad teams find ways to lose.

What's happening on this board? This thread turned into the animal house.

It is humorous, isn't it? I love Belichick more than anyone, but I like reading the negative points. It keeps me grounded because I am biased toward Bill.

As long as you don't criticize BB, Kraft, Mac, and a girl, you should be safe.

Ok so JC Jackson & Slater were 2nd team AP in '21. So, JC was the last drafted player to make AP-2 but not AP-1. Better than nothing. When was he drafted, in 2018?

I think you misunderstood. It was a comparison. The posters have been hating on BB. But many don’t bother to see that many of the top coaches have had ‘bad seasons’.
Ok my bad.

I think we need to give the kid another year to develop because he was obviously raw and the above, but that 50% reception completion % is a tad worrisome.

He wasn't drafted. He was a UFA in 2018. Does it matter when he was a rookie, when he made AP and what team?

Your argument is the Pats haven't developed All Pros and they have in recent years.
