Free Agents:
Nelson Agohlor - WR in the words of nsync, BYE BYE BYE. So overpaid, shows no effort, never makes any splash plays, and even made some dumb mistakes you would never expect from a veteran. Total waste of $15m/year.
Devin McCourty - S A true patriot thru and thru... going to miss this guy a lot, he's been a pillar on the defense as an elite player and leader for over a decade.. but he'll be retiring and hanging them up. So much respect for this guy, we're going to miss him a lot
Jonathan Jones * - CB Hope we can retain him, but he could go the way of JC Jackson with someone offering him true CB1 money
Jakobi Meyers * - WR I think we should give him a bunch of Agholors money, around $12-13 million a year.. he's a solid #2 WR, but someone may pay him like a WR1, or just want to overpay him in general and that would be a mistake.. hes a solid, reliable WR but hes not a game wrecker that deserves top money
Isaiah Wynn - OL bye bye buddy.. huge disappointment for a 1st round pick. Only way i could see him staying is as a backup (swing tackle?), but someone may pay him to be more than that
Matthew Slater - ST Another great team captain, but its time for him to retire. BB may need to completely rethink his highly paid ST strategy after this years performance... having 5-6 full timers that are paid well to be on ST was already a controversial strategy since the kickoff has virtually been eliminated.. but now with an old aging kicker and a practice squad punter that cant even do kickoffs, ST has become our achilles heel and is the biggest reason for our week 18 loss to the Bills (2 kickoff returns for a TD... so disgusting... )
Cody Davis - ST A special teamer... none of the special teamers are on my good list right now, so i dont really care what happens to them at this point
Jabrill Peppers * - LB/S He's been fairly solid for us in the roles he plays, and contributes on ST. This is the kind of ST guy i can get behind, someone that also contributes on defense regularly.. may need him to contribute a lot more with McCourty retiring
Marcus Cannon - OT Not sure this guyh really has much left.. cant see him coming back as more than a backup on the Oline, but withn his injury history, etc.. may be time to explore different options
JoeJuan Williams - DB total bust.. good luck in free agency, likely going to be a career STer or something
Carl Davis - DL Dont know much about this guy, dont think hes going to be much of an impact either way
Daniel Ekuale * - DL He started to show some promise, hopefully they can keep him around
Michael Palardy - P no excuse for this guy to be anywhere near this stadium in offseason... If Jake Bailey has a long term issue, then they need to draft a new punter that can actually do kickoffs. It amazes me that this guy couldnt kick the ball off of a tee into the back of the endzone... hes been totally inconsistent as a punter as well... a total JAG
Raekwon McMillan * - LB underwhelming LBer, was supposed to provide us that speed we needed but never manifested into anything. Could see him back on a middle class, backup salary.
Joe Cardona * - LS unless his injury was severe, i see him coming back and continuing to be our LS for the foreseeable future
Conor McDermott * - OT He was like our 5th RT option, and he played respectably in that role. I could see him earning a spot on the right side, or possible as swing tackle on the team
James Ferentz - OG We should be able to upgrade this backup position in FA/Draft
Damien Harris - RB Got paid to ice up in the tub for most of the season... Great RB when healthy, but not someone you pay free agent money to. He'll be gone to some other team who pays him. He wont break the bank, but the Pats simply dont need his services anymore with Rham, Strong and Harris. Im sure they'll bring in another veteran FA and maybe another draft pick, but they arent paying Damien Harris free agent money with his injury history
Yodny Cajuste - OL Barely got to see this guy play, dont have an opinion one way or another on him.. hopefuly can be in for camp to generate competition
Myles Bryant - DB Get this mfer OUT OF HERE... if i have to watch this guy get burnt like toast on defense, or bounce off of small return man trying to make a tackle on special teams, ill stroke out. Myles Bryant, the man that was ALMOST THERE but not quite
Kristian Wilkerson - WR meh
Mack Wilson * - LB Wilson was a solid contributor to our LBers, hopefully he can be brought back
Quinn Nordin - K maybe a camp leg to see if hes improved his accuracy.. Folk has been a godsend for us that we lucked into, but he's old and has a weak ass leg, and that needs to be addressed
Scotty Washington * - TE a jag, dont care what happens with this guy
LaBryan Ray * - DL who?
