It wasn’t a tough call. You can't stop the world simply because you're moaning and crying over something bad that just happened
Disagree. I do not believe a game has ever been stopped like this before.Stopping a football game isn’t stopping the world. It wasn’t a tough call.
Your old uniform thing is kind of amusing, but this is a wretched take.

No, I do not feel any less about Darryl Stingley, Dennis Byrd or anyone else than I do about Damar Hamlin.
Lol. He is still in the ICU. Nobody gets discharged from the ICU. 0% chance that he is in Orchard Park tomorrow.I wouldn't be super surprised if he's released tomorrow and is in Orchard Park tomorrow physically. He'll definitely have a video message on the jumbotron.
Do you think they should have played the week of 9/11Disagree. I do not believe a game has ever been stopped like this before.
No, I do not feel any less about Darryl Stingley, Dennis Byrd or anyone else than I do about Damar Hamlin.
Obviously noDo you think they should have played the week of 9/11
For crying out loud, being paralyzed is less alarming or life threatening?!?!Please name another time that a player went into cardiac arrest on the field since Chuck Hughes in 1971.
Uh, I have nothing against people including men expressing themselves and sharing feelings.Good article on how Hamlin's situation has changed the NFL:
Why obviously noObviously no
I referenced 9/11 in another post

No, and I think the decision should not have been up to the NFL.Do you think they should have played the week of 9/11
OK, while we're on the subject of horrible incidents of pro athletes passing out during games, I'm reminded that Reggie Lewis is a cautionary tale of the fatal dangers of not marrying well.Depends on what if any permanent heart muscle damage occurred and if there was/is some previously unknown genetic etc. cause. Bet nobody knows unless there was substantive heart muscle damage.
Well, they played after JFK got shot, and while the country was in shock and mourning, I admire guys sucking it up. But you know, guys did that all the time then, the vast majority for little money or glory. No, and I think the decision should not have been up to the NFL.
