Game Day Thread Official Post Game Thread- Pats beat the Dolphins

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

The Pats weren't supposed to win at all. Not with them missing Jack and Marcus Jones and Mills being a question mark. Waddle, Hill, and Co were supposed to make it so that Bridgewater would have an easy day and still lead the Phins to a double digit victory...
the dolphins had crossen as their CB1, this is equal imo

Could you please cite where KB "never bought into the new offensive system"? Could you cite the reporting that KB "never respected Patricia's ability to suddenly coach offense"? Could you cite where KB asked questions and corrected Patricia when Patricia was wrong?

Where did you get that Butler was benched for questioning the game plan against the Eagles?

When has BB reduced a player's playing time so he wouldn't reach incentives? I remember them making exceptions in regards to incentives for several players over the past 20 years and giving them their bonus...
Buddy, it's all been reported do you listen to talk radio much? Ever heard of Phil perry, Tom Curran? This is old news!

Buffalo might even "soft throw" to get us in the playoffs for a (perceived) easier wildcard matchup
I doubt it. I'd rather play my ass off to potentially not play KC on the road than to get an easy wildcard match up

Fins coaches lost the game.

Yes, I agreed with what he said except asserting that the defense was "elite". I think the defense is good and with a competent offense and special teams could be a championship defense. Elite to me is the 85 bears or ravens super bowl defense.
If we apply that definition then there are no elite defenses in the NFL this year?

Some might say the 49'ers, but I would say none.
Top 4 are:

-NE
-SF
-DAL
-PHI

However, there obviously aren’t any 85 Bears, 00 Ravens, 02 Bucs, 13 Seahawks, 15 Broncos etc..

Pats barely beat the Fins, with their 2nd/3rd string QB.....

If Allen plays next week, Pats will lose.
Patriots Beat the Dolphins and next week is any given Sunday. Keep your "barely" to yourself, Patriots "barely" lost other games. Try to enjoy a W.

Really? The Phins coach lost the game? He's the one who threw the Pick 6 to Dugger? He's the on who threw the Int to Jon Jones? (just two examples)

Yeah Curran talked about this during the offseason that Bourne was upset that with the direction the team was going. He doesn't like the coaching staff, scheme and was upset they traded for Parker and drafted Thornton. I never heard him being late to anything though.

Pats 2003 defense continues to be overlooked as they were better statically in most areas. In fact, the Titans defense was also statistically better than the Ravens that year. While the Ravens D was really good, we wouldn't be talking about them had the Titans not imploded offensively against the Ravens in the divisional round.

There really isn't. They all have massive flaws.

Broncos are another team nobody would be talking about had the Pats approached the last two games of the season differently or had managed that AFCCG better by not continually going for it on 4th down and kick the field goals. They would've won.

That’s because your opinion is either ill-informed or biased, or both. Crossen played every defensive snap because their CB group sucks at baseline, other than Howard, not because they were decimated by injury at the position. Crossen, Kohou and Igbinoghene are their CBs 2-4.

The Pats were missing 3 out of their top 4 CBs. The dropoff/delta from their baseline was huge. What the Pats D (coaches and players) were able to do was impressive. Two CBs who don’t know the playbook, or even the names of all of their teammates, played significant snaps but to the BB haters than is no big deal vs. Hill and Waddle.

I said their cb are equally bad as the pats cb who played
I am sure you have seen crossens pass interferenxe which was one of the worst pass defense played I have seen in years
The pats looked good under these circumstances and are well coached

what makes Caley special?
Well, it must be something about his coaching abilities, his relationship with the players, his offensive intelligence that the head honcho feels he's the man.. I'll say Caley has some stones though.. telling BB he won't take the OC job without actually having the title! Good for him!

There's like 5-6 that really matter. I think we're in that group right after Phila/49ers.

I never heard that before, when was that reported?
