Even if he did somebody made a great point.. he could have just threw it to another teammate. The moment Myers threw that lateral the game was over.

No, it doesn’t. You never responded to a single post which said what you thought it said in your OP. You either misread a post on that thread or you set up a straw man in this one. I had assumed you worded your OP poorly, essentially giving you the benefit of the doubt, but you didn’t admit that. So, since such a post with the following criteria doesn’t exist:

1. A statement that the final play was not Meyers’ fault, and…

2. A statement that the final play was Mac’s fault for not making the tackle

… then one can safely assume that you were purposely creating a straw man that has no basis in reality. I read through your responses in that thread. Not a single post makes that claim.

I’m surprised nobody has noticed Jacobi’s awful answer as to why he threw it almost back to the LOS saying “I thought Mac was open”. No reporters followed up asking him what he expected Mac to do with it next? There’s nobody else to lateral it to. If Jacobi isn’t benched for this but Bourne gets cancelled because he hurt Matt’s feelings, it goes against everything Bill stood for in the past and shows how dysfunctional they have been since that one guy left.

I get what you're saying about the inequitable treatment of players (which is nothing new) but this benching of players needs to stop unless they've done something entirely egregious. What Meyers did does not qualify. The coaching staff put the players in a bad spot with that incredibly stupid play-call. Just call a kneel down if your only other consideration is a useless run up the middle. Also Patricia is practically standing next to Meyers when he got the ball so maybe as opposed to clapping in approval he should have screamed for Meyers to go down.

I don't think it was a bad play call....it was a draw play...if we score, is it a bad play call then? It was a horrible decision by both Rham and Meyers who both stated that they did this on their own.

It was just another opportunity where Mac came up short. Is he a football player or not? Punters make tackles. Mac is over 6 feet tall. Odds aren't in his favor but he still failed miserably.
