I have no idea who's fault it is. It could be any number of people's fault but at 2 years and the money he's making, all that matters is he's been a bust.
Even under McDaniels he wasn't all that good so it's obviously not Patricias fault. That I can rule out.
Justin Fields had it way worse in 2021 than Mac does this year - a bad HC and a weak defense to go along with bad offensive coaching, no OL and no receivers...and I don't remember him having on field hysterics or cursing out his coaches. And now look at him.
If you didn't like Mac before the game, you won't like Mac after he turtled when Jones caught the ball. This dude is a pansy.
I hope Meyers goes to another team next year. He's overly targeted and makes almost zero impact. Now he can add most idiotic play of the year to his resume.
Horribly coached on the 4th down play. The CB's gave the Raiders the sticks as soon as Carr snapped the football.
Bill is now 11-12 vs his assistants. That should not be possible.
At least Uche adds another sack to his total. If their going down, at least they can have the highest sacking tandem in the NFL.
Barmore doing his usual "I'm close to sacking him" routine. He really needs to step his game up the next couple of weeks.
Wouldn't surprise me if the Zappites were the same trolls who piled on McDaniels when the offense stunk. Now when the offense stinks the OC is some sort of innocent bystander.

The funniest part of that last play is that Chandler didn't look like he moved after missing the tackle on rhamondre. Looks like he just stayed where he fell on the field. Then a Christmas miracle and the ball somehow comes into his hands.
He has put together a Defense and Running game to die for, but in THIS NFL you cant win it all without a QB. There comes a day when the RBs or Defense or both are just a step off that day. Your QB must step up and fill the void.
No one is absolving Mac of blame. But as others have said the offense as a whole has regressed by every measurable statistic from last year and every single play bar Rham has got considerably worse. That gives context to Macs awful performances. Mac was bad yesterday but its almost impossible to know how much is his own awful play and the context of bad offensive coaching. One thing for sure is that the coaching is bad. this offense at times looks like a **** show unlike anything i've seen here in decades. That isn't all on Mac.
I thought the Dion Lewis run before OT in Super Bowl 51 was a dumb idea. 2022: Hold my beer.
Can you imagine the Patriots trying this stunt in that game after that comeback? I think Brady and Edelman and a bunch of other guys would have quit right on the spot.

Only a badly coached team could possibly come up with that last play. To even think about a backward lateral in that situation is utterly mind-blowing and something you'd expect from a 0-10 high school team. Suggests either a total lack of discipline/smarts on the players part or quite possibly a lack of respect to the coaching. Totally indefensible by Meyers.
