Game Day Thread Official Post Game Thread- Raiders beat the Pats

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Are we to assume if Zappe was playing he would have pancaked Chandler Jones, stripped the ball and then heaved a 60 yard toss to Nelson Agholor in triple coverage for a game winning TD?
Some people are saying that.

BB is not Immortal the light is at the end of the tunnel I am sure he can see the light.

Do you accept the bet or not?

We all know BB is closer the end of his career than the beginning.

Just had a look at the Gamebook Final Defensive Stats on Pats.com. Matt Judon was listed as starting on the defence lineup yet when you look at the individual stats he is not mentioned...no tackles , no assists , no nothing. Was he double/triple teamed the whole game or injured or have I missed something.

He had a lot of pressures and some chases.

just dissappeared as usual towards end of the season, however Uche is stepping up the last 6-7 games, no designed pass rushes for him, pure talent and speed there beating OGs and OTs as he wants

The fake punt didn’t lose the game. This one did.

You trolls really exposing yourselves after this one. Got idiots actually coming with the "can't laugh at the colts or jets after this" takes

Oh no I can and will.

First team to get stopped by Oakland on 1st and goal inside the five all season. A score there means kneel downs at the end instead of the Meyers pick-six.

Raiders didn't stop **** though they scored twice Raiders got bailed out.

If the NFL's goal since they instituted play reviews from the New York Jets video room was to disenfranchise Patriots fans, it's finally worked. The fix is in folks. The Patriots aren't going to get anything from that review room.

I'm done with this farce. The Eagles Super Bowl "catch" was the first of many. The horrible call they made in the Vikings game against Henry was bad. Heck, the same thing happened on a Raiders TD catch today and it counted. Then that clearly out of bounds catch was ruled a TD. That was it NFL... you did it. You completely turned off this Pats fan. I'm done watching the NFL replay office in New York flipping me the bird.

It was always a bad idea to have a team in Vegas.

"It's not his fault," Matthew Slater said. "It's not his fault. We wouldn't be in the game without him. One of the most dependable, smartest, toughest football players on this team. We'll go down with him 10 out of 10 times."

No, Matt, it is his fault. It's okay to say it. Everyone with two (or less) eyeballs who watched the game knows it.

This was one of those losses where I had to just sit in silence for a few minutes trying to make sense of what happened. Insanely stupid play, but not entirely unbelievable for this team. It's sad to say, but the Patriots are a dumb team. Every week there are multiple plays of the stupid variety, some to a greater extent than others (obviously the lateral takes the cake). Penalties, missed assignments (seriously what was Peppers doing on the punt that was blocked?), clock management issues (this one has been very annoying this year), drops, turnovers, you name it. The Pats are a messy, undisciplined team which is something I never though I'd say.

No. Raiders deserved to lose. Needed a timeout to bail them out of alllowing a TD. Then was hard carried to 2 TDs by the refs.
Paul Brown once said that the team that makes the fewest mistakes should win. Pretty even game but the blocked punt and the Meyers meltdown were two huge mistakes that cost the Pats the game.

Defending his teammate. Understandable.

This doesn’t happen on teams that are coached well. This team isn’t.
