Thinking the Raiders could have a mistake free game is like saying the Patriots won't throw another screen pass.

It's a shame that Cajuste have had more than his share of injuries. Wynn gave Cajuste every opportunity to take that RT Spot and he's been just has injury prone. Both guys are in a contract year I hope we move on from both.

I can see why the CS prefer the Shot Gun: Mac panics at the slightest sign of a breakdown which shows his lack of pocket presence. Until Mac fixes that we could talk until we are blue in the face it won't matter.

Mac has faced a lot of pressure since the first pre season game. I think it’s made him afraid to step up in the pocket and even made him see pressure when it wasn’t there. I thought he had pretty good mobility within the pocket last year, this year it’s been bad.

I’m hopeful that next season with an upgraded offensive line he won’t see ghosts or feel that he’s going to get hit if he steps up in the pocket.

For now the offense will be centered around the quick game and running the ball. I’d love to see more pre snap motion to at least delay the rushers. If the line holds up early I’d love to see more play action as well. They hit a few seem routes to Henry which is probably the closest we will see to a downfield passing game this season.

I like the idea of Thornton, but he's done nothing. Agholor is so unreliable.
Bourne has the talent, but he's not able to carry a team, or get open on his own.
Our WR's are so mediocre, and our TE's are barely in the pass game. Death by 100 screens isn't going to work.
Sorry, but this is a loss - and the end of our season. After this game, we'll get dominated by the final 3 teams and it's going to be a long offseason of doom and gloom.

McDaniels knows Mac's strengths and weaknesses inside and out and the whole offense for that matter- huge advantage for Raidahs defense. Expect a ton of pressure up the middle on Sunday. Matty P will be going wild calling halfback and bubble screens. It will be maddening.

The Raiders RT is a familiar face. When he was with us and the Ravens, he now admits to being lazy and out of shape. Fat even.

Now he has his act together.

Raiders offense is fairly potent - but their defense is also fairly bad.

The Patriots offense as we know is very inconsistent but the defense is solid.

All the Patriots offense need to do is score more than the defense gives up.

If this game turns into a shootout it's gonna be an auto-lose. We can't keep up, not with the Patriots poor scoring rate in the redzone.

But if the defense plays like last week where they keep the other team under 20, and scores a TD to boost our lackluster offense, well we've got a chance.

The main problem is that Josh knows so much about the Patriots system, he is probably the worst opponent to face. The Raiders will be ready for us.

So straight up if you had a choice, would you take Mac Jones or Derek Carr? Unfortunately I'd take Carr every day and twice on Sunday in 2022.

The Patriots defense needs to play another epic game just to give us a chance to win.
