Yeah, pretty brutal game. I felt like the defense was 0/78,392 in stopping the Billshits on third down, but credit to Allen...he can play some backyard ball and we've always struggled against guys like that...for many years.

Not a great game from Mac, but he was definitely trying. I think he ran over 50 yards on that one play, just trying to stay alive. He's got heart, but he's definitely entering a mental space that's not good for his long term development.

As for Patricia...yeah, I haven't said anything to this point, but hot damn. That was brutal tonight. There's no defending it. JMac may not be covering himself in glory in Vegas, so he's welcome back anytime.

On that note, everyone wanting to run BB out the door should heed well. There's nothing saying our next head coach isn't going to be Patricia-as-OC quality...be careful what you wish for.

EDIT

Now that I am myself entering back into my pre-BB/Brady Pats fan mindset of simply wanting to be entertained, I ask myself....am I being entertained?

Mac meltdown
Rham running people over
Fat Matt soiling himself at OC
Locker room tensions
Marcus Jones doing interesting things when he touches the ball
The weekly special teams Benny Hill stuff
Pats fans meltdown (with us old timers saying "First time?")

Yeah, I'm entertained...

Sorry , dont want to get into the whole before brady and after brady thing. Sure brady is big reason they won. But the First SB and team building wasnt brady. Brady didnt become brady until 2007 .Bb and his coaching staff and defense were a big part of styming the colts and steelers and rams of that time. People just forget.
Revisionist history. He was already talked about being a HOF by his 3rd Super Bowl win in 2004. He went into god mode by 2007.

Heres the thing, I can handle losing to a more talented team, Josh Allen made at least three how defuq he do that throws where I was sure we had him. Sometimes the other guys get paid too and it’s just not your day. What is making this team really hard to watch is the unpatriot like mistakes. Mind blowingly badly timed penalties that end drives that are going well. Stupid plays that have no realistic chance of working. Wasting timeouts, not having personal groups in and knowing what they are doing. It used to be when that once a season situation came up the patriots played it perfectly, now they do the exact wrong thing. Paying two TE’s 15 mil a year but NEVER using them! I am a fan and I will watch and root for them every week but this team is competing hard with 09 as my least favorite of the BB era. I don’t have an answer for what would fix it but I just want to see Patriot football again, smart, disciplined, do your job and play as a team. Win, lose, draw I can enjoy watching that kind of team, this one…. Not so much.
the first down on 3rd snd inches which they fumbled the handoff told me what the focus is in this team and where their head and fire is to play. Abysmal start to the game and it was a sign of things to come.

I've been a big BB guy. I thought it was ridiculous when some were criticizing him and the rebuild 1-2 years post Brady. My opinion has always been that 3 years would be about the right time, and I actually felt very optimistic about the team in the offseason. Well here we are and the rebuild has lost all momentum and we're back at square 1. The weird thing is that I basically feel like we're better OL play and an OC away from being playoff contenders, yet that feels miles away when you have the locker room falling apart and no leadership stepping up. I think BB has earned the benefit of the doubt, and to me that means he gets 1 more year to show that he is moving things in the right direction. A coach without his pedigree would be gone this offseason.

I’m going to call it and I said it beginning of the season.
Wes Welker as the next HC.

1. You get a pulse on the dynamic offense Miami is fielding.
2. You weaken a division rival.
3. You bring in a fan favorite.
4. If you are going post BB era to win the fans you either need a home run hire like a Mcvay or Payton or a fan favorite.
5. Wes Welker HC. Jerod Mayo Dc. Groh and Wolf titles bumped.
Matt Slater promoted as ST coach.

Thoughts?
Sure…why not

The question is, Does Kraft still care?
He has a new wife, he seems content to hob knob with his friends and celebrities at the games now.
He has his six banners, is he content with that?
A much, much younger wife. Hard to keep up even popping those little blue pills. The dude’s 80?

He may be…more distracted than we’re used to seeing.

What? Onwenu doesn’t need to be replaced.

Owenu is like a modern day Steve Neal. So steady and plays so well, you take it for granted.

Brady was basically Terry Bradshaw prior to 2007...a guy with a lot of SBs but the numbers weren't great

1,2, and 4.

Mac has been bad this year maybe play better before telling your coaches who are in the nfl longer than the time he played football what to do.

It doesnt work like that. Especially when other issues are the reasons or main reasons. Matt P has not been a OC longer than Mac has been an NFL QB.

and Matt P had a head coaching job and completely crap the bed to the point former lions players cont. to talk crap about him.

Oh.. he cares... trust if his franchise fell into nfl purgatory, and fans stopped showing up.. he'd care because tickect sales would be significantly down..

I don’t blame him. When he quit the Jets he gave an intelligent, earnest and detailed explanation for his abrupt departure. He was ridiculed mercilessly by the media. He learned that day not to trust most media members and to provide curt answers with little meaning to their questions.
Those comments were over 20 years ago and made by New York mediots. He's been treated fairly here in spite of his bs pressers. That's probably due to the success that he had here with Brady.

" not winning a playoff game in 3 years is bothering me... Bill doesn't always do what I or the fans think is always easy to understand...
As he's earned that right.... however I'm results driven " Kraft in March 2022
Very interesting. A collision course is looming. All good things must come to an end.

That’s on the table. Belichick agreeing to step down after some heated meetings with Jonathan and Robert.

Cuz we’re not making the playoffs. Miracle do happen. But not often.

The Bills have no fear facing the Patriots. None whatsoever.

“Bill were you always planning to use Marcus Jones on offense sometime this year or did that come up as an idea more recently?”

“He’s played on offense in college.”
That kid's a special player.
