Bill needs to win a playoff game by next season or he needs to lose his job. The buck stops with him as the HC and the GM.
Kraft is never going to fire him. He most certainly could be convinced to retire, but I don't think there's any way they just axe him. I think that would require a regime change from RKK to Jonathan, which is certainly possible. RKK hands reigns to Jonathan, bill decides he's not working for a second gen owner and goes. At least that's what will be presented to the fans.

He ain’t wrong, although the OLs inability to consistently give Mac time to throw does make it challenging to run a lot of vertical routes.

It was a sequence in the third quarter, I believe it was their first series of the second half, that stuck out to me in terms of Patricia’s lack of feel for the game. Mondre had strung together three physical runs for good yardage, gaining the yards mostly on his own. They had first and 10 just inside of Bills territory, perfect time for play action and MP goes to the run well one too many times and Mondre gets stuffed for a 4 yards loss and the drive collapsed (Poyer near INT shortly thereafter).

Imagine Stevenson’s rushing numbers if he actually had holes to run through.
Exactly and its not like we had holes to run , the first downs was all mondre but he still tries the same thing.

Robert Kraft has been waiting for a playoff win since 2019. That’s three years. The rebuild after Brady should be nearly complete.

But the future looks dim. Big needs next year. At OT, replacing McCourtey, another stud DT, a legit outside corner, etc etc.

Where are we going, Bill?

A line will be drawn eventually. It’s called accountability. It rains down on everyone.

You dont want BB gone , trust me. Look at the coaches around the nfl. yes its bad. Very bad this yr. But he can coach .But yes he needs to show fixes soon. We thought it would suck when brady went and it does. It wull be whole another level with revolving door of coaches. Who do you want replacing him ? Not very many out there.

Brown was playing at 40-50% last night. He was very sick. Got that firsthand from someone I trust. If they had any other option, Brown wouldn't have played. He was bad and lethargic, but he was sick
When you realized Bill traded away a backup tackle 2 weeks into the season

He played under Shannahan's offense. I think he has a clue. Night and day. Needs to be said.
Playing under an great offense before doesnt mean he can say what he wants. its not like his effort and the other WRs have played 100 % hard. Calling out deep pass plays is one thing - does he know what the oline is dealing with ? not to mention he said Bills arent the same as last yr and we couldve had them. Seriously ?

Zappe earned it by Hoyer getting a concussion. Mac Jones was second last year in the OROY race. He didn’t win it because Chase had a historic year. And he beat out Newton in camp and the preseason. You saying that he didn’t earn his starting position and Zappe did?
Ever heard of Houston Baptist? Me neither.

That’s where he played until he and his OC—who would be better than Patricia—transferred his senior season to Western Kentucky.

A long way from Tuscaloosa. That’s what I meant.

Who was that backup tackle? Herron to answer my question. He was a turnstile during the summer, you probably don't remember that because you didn't follow t/c. If you think Herron could have helped this team, you are sorely mistaken.

A backup LT. Justin Herron. Yeah, he’s no RT, where they tried him.

Just bad coaching on the offensive line all year. Regression regression regression.

And Herron would have been better than listless ill TB.

The Bills toyed with us all game.
Third down was little to no issue for them.
One positive I take from this game was finally getting Thornton and Marcus Jones involved on offense.
I think Thornton is your future 1 and Marcus can be deadly in the slot if properly taught the position.

We need to say bye to Nelson to Devante and to Meyers next season.

Complete rebuild at O line, D line inside linebacker. Receiver.
Give Henry and Jonnu those walking papers.
New punter new kicker wow the list is growing and we still don’t know what the heck we have at QB.

But I feel this could be BBS last season and I see him going to a team like the Panthers and turning that organization around.
But we need new fresh ideas.

Groh and Wolf are the only ones who can stay on the entire staff in my humble opinion and the scouts they trust.
I want Troy Brown and Jerod Mayo to be involved in some form.
Time to start looking at offensive genius coaches in the NFL and college and see who would be available for the tall task of the Post Brady BB Era no pressure.

Id love to keep Meyers, I just think some team will pay him a stupid amount of money like he's a WR1 when he's not

I don’t want him gone either, but the team needs to improve at some point and win a playoff game. Bill is over 70. He was a career mediocrity as a head coach before Brady, and he’s been a mediocrity as a head coach after Brady. He’s made some mind-boggling decisions within the coaching staff and the mediocre-to-poor drafts between 2013 and 2021 are still killing this team. He gets one more year from me. If we don’t win a playoff game by next season, he needs to be put out to pasture.

If you think Kraft is just going to sit on his hands you’re wrong. He and Jonathan are going to have a lengthy sit-down with BB. And it’s going to be thorough. And BB will be asked questions.

I wish I could be in there when it happens.
The question is, Does Kraft still care?
He has a new wife, he seems content to hob knob with his friends and celebrities at the games now.
He has his six banners, is he content with that?

It's starting to remind me of the situation in Buffalo before Ralph WIlson passed. WIlson spend big in the early 90's and went to 4 Super Bowls. (never won), but after that run, Wilson never took steps to recreate the winning staff he had with Levy and Polian. Look at the string of bad coaches and GM's he hired on the cheap. (Tom Donahoe anyone?) Wasn't until new ownership came in that Buffalo started to improve

The one difference I do see is at least Kraft has not tied up the purse strings although all that free agent money on receivers seems to have been wasted.

The question is does Kraft care enough to issue Bill the ultimatum that needs to be issued? Or is he afraid to piss off his good buddy?
Is Kraft embarassed enough knowing his team sucks worse than the N.Y. Jets now?

Sorry , dont want to get into the whole before brady and after brady thing. Sure brady is big reason they won. But the First SB and team building wasnt brady. Brady didnt become brady until 2007 .Bb and his coaching staff and defense were a big part of styming the colts and steelers and rams of that time. People just forget.
The problem is we dont have the defensive and offensive leadership on this team. That falls on him too. And his coaching staff has been drained and whoever he replaced with havent been good enough.

I’m going to call it and I said it beginning of the season.
Wes Welker as the next HC.

1. You get a pulse on the dynamic offense Miami is fielding.
2. You weaken a division rival.
3. You bring in a fan favorite.
4. If you are going post BB era to win the fans you either need a home run hire like a Mcvay or Payton or a fan favorite.
5. Wes Welker HC. Jerod Mayo Dc. Groh and Wolf titles bumped.
Matt Slater promoted as ST coach.

Thoughts?

First, the Bills o-line was exponentially better than the Pats o-line
Their RG, Ryan Bates, was a restricted free agent who came to Foxboro for a visit. We never offered. Chicago did but Buffalo matched.

Bates is also versatile, guard or tackle. Left side or right.

But we’re paying JonNO Smith something like 17 million next season. I guess a no-account TE is more valuable than a solid offensive line.

Captain Stone rightly says we never adequately replaced Karras when he walked. Bill thought we were all set with a rookie from a small school and Thanksdad.

Another error in hindsight.
