exactly what i wrote earlier
this dumb cut block in your own 5-10 yard line area is just not acceptable. What is he thinking?
What is Patricia as the o-line coach teaching these guys?

We need two new OT

yeah lets see whether Kraft has to say anything, still his franchise and this is pisspoor play by the offense and that starts with coaching,
If you think Kraft is just going to sit on his hands you’re wrong. He and Jonathan are going to have a lengthy sit-down with BB. And it’s going to be thorough. And BB will be asked questions.

I wish I could be in there when it happens.

Kraft pretty much publicly said that he didn't agree with Belichick's decision to build his coaching staff the way he did, but he was giving Belichick the benefit of the doubt. But he also appeared to draw a line in the sand that the Pats win a playoff game this year or there will be changes next year.
Do you have a link? This is going to get interesting.

this is football played by grown men. You think they just talk to each other. I don't know how much football you watch but they yell at each other all the time on the field. Mac is not a rookie anymore he is consider a vet and he is the starter on your football field. Also he understands football just like everyone else on the football field. Just like the defense can read plays and understand what the opp. is doing so can the offense.

Mac could clearly see what they were doing was not working during a highly emotional game. What was he suppose to do? walk over and whisper in the OCs ear??? These are grown man playing a brutal sports and he is not a rookie anymore. Gaming winning drives or anything else should have nothing to do with it, if you are a main part of this team and you are looking foolish out there. You better speak up. Your teammates would respect you more..

Zack Wilson has more game winning drives and he is benched by the Jets with his teammates screaming in the lock room while the media is there that they basically do not want him to QB anymore.....

tell me that is happening here with Mac Jones?
Mac has been bad this year maybe play better before telling your coaches who are in the nfl longer than the time he played football what to do.

What you need more? Two tackles that weren’t absolute turnstiles last night. Fat, lazy Trent Brown is back and who can even name the RT last night.
The Pats pressured Allen too but he stepped up and made throws. Why? Because he has a rocket arm that is accurate.

NFL defenses do not fear Mac Jones. Old Checkdown Charlie playing right into the defenses strategy.

Same as 2021, the Pats are a team that wins by RB and Defense just like the Rex Ryan Jets with Mark Sanchez. Thats who I see when I watch Mac Jones. Mark Sanchez. Oblivious to whats going on and a QB who cant handle the speed of the NFL game. Bumping along and making a great throw here and there, but throwing and INT in the endzone killing the drive. Taking a horrific sack. Diving on the ground in Minnesota and wasting a timeout. Inches away from a Safety 2 Thursday nights in succession.

Getting into FG range is an accomplishment.

Not having Damien Harris last nigh hurt the run game and the NE defense wore down running on fumes again. NE was 3 for 12 on 3rd down conversions last night which resulted in the Bills having the ball for 16 more minutes than NE. Same as the Vikings game. Same story in 3 weeks vs the Bengals,

In 18 years of being on Patsfans, I’ve never seen the natives so restless.

It all comes down to Belichick wanting to show he’s the smartest guy in the business. And doing dumb things.

Like making Patricia both the offensive line coach and the offensive coordinator.

Now people are laughing behind Bill’s back. Just like Sean McVay after we drafted a Chattanooga lineman in the first round.

I'm not one to join choruses or do the pitchfork thing but holy hell, I can no longer give Patricia the benefit of the doubt. Each week the doubt is removed more conclusively.

Get real coaches please

He is hot garbage.

Patricia wouldn’t sniff an OC position if it weren’t for his buddy Bill giving him the job, he didn’t earn jack squat.
All you guys, plus @Kontradiction and @RobertWeathers ... I have taken a wait and see approach to this team when it comes to the offense, specifically Fat Matt. Well, I have waited and I have seen. The last two games, especially production at the half, have told me everything I need to know. Patricia sucks. Bad. He sucked as defensive co-ordinator, they won in spite of him, the defense was better under Flo when Matt left. He sucked in Detroit, and he sucks here. He's got no effing clue how to run an offense. I am glad to see guys like @JackBauer come to their senses on McD. He might suck as a HC, but he's a damned good OC. Light years ahead of this current staff. Fat Matt might be best suited in the Ernie Adams role, I don't doubt the man is intelligent, but as an OC holy chit he's chit on a shingle. Get him TF out of here.

I am not willing to place all the blame at Mac's feet like some folks here. I feel that's throwing the baby out with the bathwater. I'd like to see what this kid can do with a proper OC, because this staff sucks.
I don’t think Brady yelled at his coaches other than maybe 1-2 times…he yelled at his teammates. I don’t think Bill is the kind of guy who tolerates what he perceives as disrespect. That’s just my opinion though.
I don't give a flying eff what Bill likes at this moment. I have been staunchly on Team Bill for 20 years, and I still think there's no one I rather have coaching this team. BUT... If Bill remains loyal to his guys and keeps these guys around instead of getting a qualified OC, then Bill is putting his desire to be around "his guys" ahead of the team. I don't think he will, but the remainder of the season will show us what direction we are going in 2023. Regardless, I could care less if Bill is pissed that Mac called out Fat Matt on the sidelines. Patricia earned every bit of it.

Zappe came up from no where and _earned_ it.

The starter bidded his time and worked hard and was finally handed the keys to the fancy car.

Notice the difference?
I would have at least let Zappe in for the last 5 minutes, but then you run the risk of embarrassing the "The Guy" and we cannot have that.

Belichick is going down with the ship like any old skhool Navy man would.

i can't see BB firing patricia and judge after 1 season. Our offense needs fresh blood from outside perspectives, and i am not a fan of bringing back McDaniels. His offenses aren't that great either imo, although he did a good job with mac but his offense was predictable as well. We need someone who hasn't worked for the pats within the last 5 years or this offense will not improve. I mean look at the veterans we have signed and they look like trash in our offense.

First, the Bills o-line was exponentially better than the Pats o-line since the Pats didn’t have an o-line for most of the night. Even when Stevenson ran for good yardage, he was breaking tackles at the line of scrimmage and making plays on his own.

Second, Jones did a good job at times eluding pressure and not so much at others. And many times he was a sitting duck because the defense had a jail break rush on him.

Third, which is it? Jones doesn’t look past his first read or is he a Checkdown Charlie? You Mac haters are all over the place with your criticism of him.

Yeah, Brady and McD went at it at one point too. That's why I said only 1-2 times Brady's done it and he gets a pass because he was a successful QB. Imagine being a young 2nd year player who hasn't done anything in this league and telling BB and Co. to throw the ball more. I doubt Bill appreciates it
This. I appreciate Macs fire but only successful players are allowed to do that. Somebody like a Brady. Peyton. Brees. Heck, even Mahomes. Why? Because they are likely right..

No, I don't either, but with their current advisory positions, Bill can make a lateral move. I don't think any one of us would object to Patricia being bumped to the analytics job that Adams held. Judge could certainly be given a different position as well.

Bill needs to win a playoff game by next season or he needs to lose his job. The buck stops with him as the HC and the GM.

There is something about this team.....they just don't seem to come out mentally ready or have that winning instinct.
It’s also the most obvious thing. A lack of talent. Starts with the OL and branches out.

Mac - “It wasn’t directed at anybody. I lost my cool.”

No s.hit?

patricia maybe to the personnel department or whatever and judge to special teams. The offense needs new blood badly

Same play where Strange also got called for a hold. Now you can see why he had to... Makes you understand why Bill was possibly benching Brown 2 weeks ago in favor of Wynn, only to have Wynn hurt himself after one quarter.
Brown was playing at 40-50% last night. He was very sick. Got that firsthand from someone I trust. If they had any other option, Brown wouldn't have played. He was bad and lethargic, but he was sick. We all knew McDermott was bad and he didn't disappoint in that assessment. Right now, the two OT positions are hurting this team offensively.
