How can they overturn the TD if the ball never hit the ground ? Worst case spot it at the 1inch line...i cant fathom that call.

I think Parker is close enough to Jefferson for our purposes right now. Issue is Parker is still getting right from injury (and is always injured). I’m more concerned about the other guys and the unit as a whole. Meyers is constantly dinged lately and every other WR besides Parker and Meyers seems to be inept. Plus the OL has previously been unable to protect long enough to take shots until today.

If you could pair Parker with an elite WR, Jones might be a top QB in the league like Tua with Hill and Waddle. I am not sure he can be the #1 consistently. Especially since he cannot stay healthy.

Parker is close to Jefferson? Is this some bizarro world NFL? He's not even remotely close to Jefferson. Jefferson is elite, one of the best players in the NFL.

Refs have been awful this year in the NFL and college.
Watching the game tonight reminded me of watching the Bama v Tenn game where we were robbed by the refs all game all too. So many no calls against TN and 17 penalties called against us, including this game changer that cost us a chance to play in the championships. They called DPI on us, it was 4th down, we got a INT, 45seconds left.
I am convinced that the fix is in both leagues. No way all those calls were missed!

Macs ceiling is probably in the 6-10 range for best QBs in the league. And considering the afc has dudes like Allen, mahomes, Herbert, Lamar, burrow, and Tua slinging it around, we are really gonna need to surround this dude with studs on both sides of the ball. Hes a guy you can win with, but he’s not gonna carry you
Mac Jones has of much as a chance at being a Top 6 quarterback as I at being the Queen of England. Dude has an IQ of a loaf of bread. Maybe ever so higher an IQ than Pierre Strong.

I'm disappointed ... but the team is progressing ... mistakes by younger players and Trent Brown needs a diet.
Defense isn’t progressing. They revert back to average or below average when facing qbs not named Wilson or Ellinger or whatever his name is. They’ve been this way for years now.

There's no signs the Pats are building towards anything except being the .500 football team they've been since Tom Brady left.

They're never going to be or awful or great and i see nothing changing about that anytime soon based on 2 1/2 seasons of evidence, they're just ok.

People don't want to admit it because they want some kind of hope but we all know it, Mac Jones and the Patriots are now the Andy Dalton Bengals they're alright they'll float about 9 or 10 wins but no one respects them as a legitimate team and the contenders will run right over them everytime.
I think it's obvious there's a lot of talent on D.

Do we need LBs that can keep up with all the short stuff? Yes. But otherwise, we're on track. Need a couple of O-lineman too.

I’m saying for our purposes as in, what we are trying to do with who we have. Obviously not as talented as Jefferson compared straight up.

Totally wrong.

The ball didn't move after it hit the ground. It only started moving AFTER he began to roll over. Any replay will show you this. The ground did not dislodge the ball.
I saw him reach for the endzone, the ball hit the ground, and IMMEDIATELY become dislodged. If it hadn't become dislodged, then the ball would've been securely held by HH when he rolled over. But when he rolled over he clearly didn't have possession of it.

It's the same idea as this play:

You HAVE to survive the ground.

Too many mistakes.

Jones not getting the rid of the ball quickly.
Running into the kicker.
Hunter Henry TD called back.
Trent Brown absolutely stinks.
Harris Injured.

Positives is that Stevenson is a beast and he is having a great season.

Rookie Grades after 11 games:
Cole Strange B-
Tyquan Thornton C-
Marcus Jones B+
Jack Jones A-
Pierre Strange C-
Zapppe (as backup qb) B+
Kevin Harris C-
Sam Roberts C-
Chasen Hines C
Andrew Steuben Incomplete

Not a great draft overall a C or C+. They needed to do much better than this

Talent wise, we are good enough to compete with ANYONE, but it has to be a clean game in all facets. We need to focus on making the playoffs by the skin of our teeth and see what happens. I'll keep the faith but it doesn't really feel like our year. Next year after we move on from the majority of our free agents seems better.

I mean look at Tua. Last year fans wanted to move on and he looked average. They get Tyreek Hill now he's a top QB.

Eagles were looking to move on from jaylen Hurts. They get AJ brown. Now he looks like a franchise guy.

It's the league now days.
The Chargers traded Drew Brees

This is a young and dumb football team. The strong penalty on the punter demonstarted a complate lack of situational awareness.
This is the crap other teams used to against us.
