Mac's mobility doesn't show up in the passing game. It doesn't seem like he can throw on the run and is damn near useless if he has to move to his left. He is 12/15 but it doesn't feel anywhere near this.
I'm not sure what we should do. We cannot risk a turnover imo. I'd probably lean heavier on Harris. We were having success with him and then just stopped. I really feel running backs play better when they can get into a groove. I can feel it in my bones that Wilson will start raining interceptions if we can get a small lead.
Supposedly someone stepped on his thigh, which is apparently what the injury is. Hopefully it's not season-ending and he'll get lucky. Fingers crossed, anyway.
All this killing of Mac Jones. Yet, he really only had really one bad play. The sack on 3rd down was clearly on him. The Agholor pass was a bit off, but catchable and we have seen the wind reaping havoc on Wilson’s passes. Could he have fought for a first down on the scramble before the last play? Maybe. But it would have been fourth and inches without the penalty and was makeable.
People are killing him for things that didn’t happen. For long stretches in the first half he had good pocket presence, he was decisive in his decisions and made good progressions when his first option wasn’t open. It is still far from perfect, but he was playing pretty well against a dominant defense that even gave Josh Allen fits two weeks ago.
I think it’s been pretty good except for the sacks. Wynn didn’t stay in at left tackle for that long with Trent Brown replacing him.
I would blame the sacks on Ferentz (d lineman crossed his face), Brown (got driven into Mac) and Onwenu (didn’t pass off his man on a tackle end stunt picked up the tackle then left a huge gap when the end came around).

It sucked because (to me) it looked like a dirty play... but on the flip side, theoretically, an injury from someone stepping on your thigh is hopefully quicker to heal than a high ankle sprain, a knee injury, etc.
I’m saying you have to keep trying until you land that qb (whether that’s the draft or FA). I would hope it doesn’t take 30 years. What we have currently isn’t even close to being good enough.
If Jordan’s furniture is going to have a slogan like “do it every night.” I’d rather have a hot chick saying that versus the old dude who probably owns the place.
This game will be won by the team that makes less mistakes. You should not be hoping for the team to put themselves in a situation where they are more likely to make a mistake like a two minute drill.
I know we all wish this offense was better but be realistic with what you want the Pats to do given their offensive issues
It took them 30 years to get Josh Allen. Are you saying the Patriots should suck for the next 30 years until we land a QB who scored 6 points today against the Browns?
That particular one I was commenting on the poster saying how much better Palardy looked than Jake Bailey who’s been a weapon for us my post was let’s see what a recovered Jake Bailey looks like in camp.
Nobody wants Mac to be good more than me I bought the jersey invested in autograph rookie cards lol.
It hurts it’s like finding out Santa doesn’t exist.
I don’t care if Judge goes out there and throws I just want a good offense.
If Mac can do that then I will be super happy.
