Damn...he's better than Judon?I'm not sure I agree with this, but I do think he's the only one in the group who's a clear starting quality player. That's the problem.

Judon isn't an ILB. Now if his comparison is Tavai, then he's absolutely correct.Damn...he's better than Judon?
They said "LB". Judon is an OLB, so he's part of the group.Judon isn't an ILB. Now if his comparison is Tavai, then he's absolutely correct.
I don't know if you listen to Patriots Unfiltered (PFW in Progress) but he pretty much ridicules anyone who thinks Zappe should start over Mac. Honestly I don’t think either one of them are true starting QBs in the league but to be as dismissive as he is about Zappe is ridiculous. He has made every excuse in the book for Mac and seems to blame Patrica without actually doing so. At least Paul Perillo correctly points out it was Bill who has put all these people in position to fail when it comes to Mac and Patrica. I don't know, maybe it is just me but the "all 22" beat writers are always the smarmiest of the group and without knowing the plays/assignments I don't know how useful the all 22 is outside from "player X was open on that play".Since joining the Patriots as a staff writer, he's become a yes-man, losing his independent analysis. He's contantly walking on egg shells to avoid appearing negative.
Because we don't have the "full package" LBs (fast AND strong);
I've noticed. On the local level, you have the holy trinity of Beddard, Perillo & Lazar all pushing the same narrative about Mac vs Zappe and blaming Patricia.I don't know if you listen to Patriots Unfiltered (PFW in Progress) but he pretty much ridicules anyone who thinks Zappe should start over Mac. On the National level there's Orlovsky doing the same and now after seeing Saturday become a HC, wants to coach Mac, lol. Look at how he completely ignores the wide open receiver at the 20 in this analysis.
At the end of the day, it's a way to take a swipe at Bill since like you say, he's the one that set it up this way.
No confirmation, but please see below. We also had a few long snappers in yesterday, but as of now, no official announcement.Who is this making room for?

This means we have to protect Mac and get pressure on Zach:

No it's not. If Mac can't throw a 13 yard rope at this moment with 2+ yds of separation, we're in trouble. Even if it's a split second before this moment and there's 1 yd of separation. Come on man. He never looked his way. He was focused on the left side and spooked by the pressure (though that's a pretty clean pocket).This below is the picture when he would have needed to throw - that's potentially a pick waiting to happen. As it happens those two defenders then came off the guy on the 20, but the QB doesn't know that will happen.
The Pats have always had a timing offense, and that's terrible spacing by the three WRs there. The two deep guys nearly run into each other and don't look for the ball at all.
