OT: Reich Fired

Not enough bad things can happen to Jim “what happened to Kim Wundrum” Irsay

Wow. Colts gonna Colts I guess.

Imagine the Colts give Manning a mega deal to be head coach next year if Saturday does a lackluster job.

Then Brady continues playing for another 2 years and we end up seeing Brady vs Manning once again.

"Snyder is the worst possible owner of an NFL franchise..."

Irsay: "Hold my beer. And this ounce of coke. And this bag of Vicodin. And this..."

They effectively pursued "Suck for Luck" a while back when Manning exited.
Dung for Young?
Byrce Young? I seriously hope they go for him because that dude is going absolutely nowhere in the NFL.

Help me out...
Do they keep stats on how many coaches have been fired after getting beat down by the Pats?
Seems like there has been a bunch.
There was LOLphins special teams coach John Bonamego, who was fired after the "special teams fiesta" in 2010 in which the Pats had a KR touchdown, a blocked punt, and a blocked FG returned for a touchdown.

If you really want to go geographic, you’d give up Miami to the south, but Indy would go to the north with Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and Cleveland, while the AFC East would get the Ravens. That would be painful to deal with the Ratbirds every year though….
On first glance I Like your idea better than mine.

I picked the Colts to go to the East mostly because I hate the Colts and would like nothing more than getting that opportunity twice a year. HOWEVER the main reason I picked the Colts was for simplicity. Swapping a team that actually is in the South (Miami) for one that isn't. Even swap. And as much as I hate the Ravens even more, and would LOVE to have them in the division, Now you'd have to find another team to move in the AFCN. Right now that division is both competitive and geographically tight

So swapping Miami for the Colts would be the simplest solution.

There is nothing, I repeat NOTHING that I enjoy more than reading the “Colts Fan Forums” to witness first hand the complete ruination of what was truly a great arch-rival. Ever since Grigson said, “we got you “bleepers” this time” kicking off the Deflategate debacle, I’ve read from afar their whining, scoffing, and pure hatred over what cold air/wet rain can do to a football and use that as a “poor little me” excuse - whimps…. If you want to raise your blood pressure, read over one of the fifty “Peyton’s better than Tommy” blogs as if an MVP trophy means more than a Championship trophy! But ever since they made the playoffs last year, ooops, sorry forgot they lost to the worst team in football to get into the playoffs. Anyway, since they got Marty Melt, I mean Ice, and especially after beating the Chiefs in Game 3 (banner anyone?), things have gone slightly off track for Little Boy Blues. 1) Marty did melt / one week after the buffoon owner stated he was a “steely eyed missile man” and a leader in the ilk of Peyton himself, 2) We beat ‘em so bad they had to fire their coach, and 3) they hire an interim coach who never coached, to coach a “professional” football team which means they now have to replace, search, and sign both another new coach and franchise QB in order to bring in another “winning system”. Yes, Pats friends, while you never hear about the colts balls from that fateful playoff game, it’s still nice to see the truly offensive team from that game is still deep under the “Curse” left behind! Thanks “Griggy”

There is something about this whole thing that doesn't sit right with me.

Maybe it was generally known, but I did not realize that Saturday had been working as a "Colts Consultant" the past few years. He is also a member of the media by virtue of his position at ESPN, appearing regularly on a variety of their NFL programs (well, until 2 days ago week he was).

Am I the only one who sees that as an obscene conflict of interest? Or does this go on regularly and I simply never knew about it? I realize that ex-players working for ESPN have a slightly-incestuous relationship covering their former teams but, IMHO, there are miles of difference between Tedy Bruschi having some contacts in New England compared to Jeff Saturday who was actually on the Colts' payroll.

Curious to see if I'm out on a limb with this one or if it is something more common than I had known....
