With the way the offense has bend playing weare

In my humble opinion we can’t compare the 2.
We faced a lame duck coach who won’t last the season.
Vs the Chiefs faced Mike Vrabels 5 and 2 Titans who are very much in the playoff picture.
Plus once it mattered the game on the line the Chiefs manufactured points and made it look easy.
Does anyone think with the coverage and pass rush the Titans were playing with we would of moved the ball thru the air with the current offensive setup?

Harsh reality for the Patriots and Jets.
We will only go as far as our defense takes us once we get in any kind of situation where the opposing offense is putting up tds we are in a lot of trouble.

So if we make a wildcard and we see KC, Buf, Mia it’s all on our defense and that’s the sad reality of this offense.
Watching Brady on that game winning drive yesterday we could never do that even though we have more weapons than Tampa currently.
2 mins to go the distance and we need a TD.
I have no faith in that happening.
Until Mac has the confidence to scan the field and go thru his progressions we are a fast out should we squeak into a playoff spot.

This isn’t something you fix in a bye week this is a serious issue.
Great post totally agree: but I think we should be able to fix some of our Offensive woes during the bye-week. We don't have a powder puff schedule in the second a half and you can bet the Jets want pay back.

The best outcome of this game is Reich being fired so hopefully the Pats can make him OC

After the snap, there was rarely any time or space to do much running or throwing. OL, I know. In prime Brady, that's when he would do all the short stuff to the third down back (Faulk/white) and to the shifty slot guy (Brown/Welker/JE11) just outside the pocket. It seems like the Pats should have those two types on the roster like they've had the past two decades. It was often a majority of the offensive approach IIRC.

Asked Doug his thoughts on Strange : good response

Why do you keep saying this?
This happens to every single QB in the league. Including the all-time greats.

I've seen this happen to pat Mahomes so many times this year!!

This is totally normal.

Dropped INTs don't count as INTs. This is so basic.
Patrick Mahommes also has 6 Interceptions to 21 TD's on the year. Of course every QB has that happen. But Mac has managed to put it in the hands of the other team quite a bit, considering he's only played 4 games.

Not according to either ESPN or NFL.com. He's fumbled once.

This fumble was probably credited to Zappe but I don't think it's all Zappe's fault. Meyers botched a handoff that appeared to be stuck right in his gut.

Strange has good technique and a good motor. What he lacks is some weight and playing strength. He’ll be on a weight and strength gain regimen this off season. I think he has a solid future in front of him, however the jury is still out if he was worth a late first rounder.
Was it worth Strange, Jack Jones, Baily Zappe and a third rounder next year that's liable to be at the very top of the round?

Either way, he’s not a fumbling machine.

Well, it didn't look like a great handoff, but being a RB isn't really his job. As a WR, he's fumbled 3 times in four years.

Forgot about all those pieces did I say I love that Strange pick?

Either way, he’s not a fumbling machine.

Not when you have Bourne (14 receptions) & Agholor (15 receptions) with 2 each.

Meyers has 1 fumble in 40 receptions.

Besides, Meyers' fumble was the result of a great punch-out by the Colts. No one could have held onto that one. Well... except maybe BenJarvus Green-Ellis.

Yes and?

First, Mac's played 5 games.

But there are even more dropped INTs for Mahomes.

To me, it's all pointless.

But all say this for you, there are actually a lot more people that track this sort of thing than I supposed. Check this out:

And this: Patrick Mahomes gets bailed out of four interceptions vs. Chargers

It's just not my thing

Some Uche love: Had his best game as a Patriot yesterday and I see his stock rising:

You can find better contain snaps by Uche in this game . seeing him starting to grasp his job and still finding ways to play to his strength was the most positive roster development of the day.

Lets hope this was about him and not the “opposition“.

If Uches new game is true . it would be important development for Pats 2023. Better late than never i guess. Congrats in any case.
