Again, that's not the point. Belichick operates in manner A. You seem to be asking him to operate in manner B. The issue isn't that he'd be giving up an advantage by not doing A anymore, but that what is the advantage of suddenly doing B? It's just different for different's sake.
The less said the better is the proper strategy, but I think Bill's smart enough to give us something without giving anything away.

If Hoyer comes in an plays better than Jones then the Pats are screwed unless Zappe develops into a QB.
Actually it would be a good thing for the team to do well….

Hoyer playing better than Mac’s first 3 games this year doesn’t determine anything for the future. Hopefully Hoyer plays well and we can pull off an upset and be positioned to let Mac play well and be in a playoff race going forward.

say hi to Patriot Nation, Captain...

Remember when Sgt Slaughter was a heel, before his feuds with the Iron Sheik turned him babyface? Now that was a baaad dude...

Is 10.5 points enough?

The way Mac is throwing bad 50 50 balls of his back foot, I'm thinking he could probably play on his ankle tomorrow. Jk.

For the Pats to succeed this year, we needed some good injury luck. We're not getting it:
- last week: Dugger and Jakobi out, Guy missed over half the game
- this week: Mac, Jakobi, and Guy all out
- all 4 weeks: Tyquan out

I don't mind the Meyers news. This was going to be the most slam dunk guaranteed loss of the season even with a fully healthy team. Don't push any injured players this week, it's not going to change the outcome.

Yep, and this is a roster that cannot afford ANY injuries, because whoever replaces the injured players is GAH-RON-TEED NOT to be an improvement.

The last player this FO acquired who's still on the 53 is LJ Humphrey (June 16th)...

(EDIT: Those acquired after June 16th but are only on the PS: UDFA SS Brad Hawkins, RB/WR Lynn Bowden, WR & 2016 first-round flop Laquan Treadwell, 2020 UDFA TE/blown-up WR Scotty Washington, and RT Marcus Cannon, who was finished here after the 2019 season... Sorry not sorry but I ain't counting Jerry Farms from something called the "Pittsburg Maulers")

That means, to put it bluntly, this FO hasn't done A ****ING THING to try to improve the 53-man roster in OVER THREE ****ING MONTHS...
Maybe there's hope eventually for Bowden & Hawkins...

What team in the league has better players sitting on the bench?

This roster is really really good... Mac throwing picks and other guys fumbling has cost them three games... not talent.

If by "erases" you mean allows the catch but not the YAC, then I agree.
He led us in solo tackles last year despite missing a couple games, he arrives suddenly and incredibly fast on check down receivers to limit their YAC.

He's one of our best defenders. He's young, but really really good.
