Thanks thought he signed a two year pact what a bargain.Bourne is signed through the 2023 season. Not that the overall point is entirely wrong, but it's not a contract year for him.

Well that's the only attempt he had in Patricia's brilliant new offense. He can only do what he is allowed to do and he delivered. The other 3 WRs had a whopping 8 catches. What happened with half time adjustments?Good play. ONE play. I suppose we should extrapolate that out to assume that, if Bourne had played 57 snaps like Parker did, he would have caught 28 balls for 1120 yards, based on that one play. And the coaches agreed? Which is why they still only played him for the 2 snaps? Seems like, right or wrong, they agreed that he wasn't ready to do more. But yes, that was one really good play.
Relax folks.....Bourne will get his snaps when the time is right.
Where are you hearing that "he's not actually bought in, isn't putting in the work, and is whining about targets/playing time?" I hope it's not the same sources that you keep on poo pooing about his being benched for missing a pre-game mtg. Do you have inside info we're not privy to?You clearly haven't really read my posts. I've repeatedly said I like Bourne. I predicted him to have a big season and he still might. My point is, and always has been, that if he's not actually bought in, isn't putting in the work, and is whining about targets/playing time, he shouldn't play over similarly talented players who ARE doing things right. It remains to be seen whether this tactic straightens him out, or if it just drives him further away. If it's the latter, it's definitely up for criticism, and marks a failure to read the room, so to speak. But if he comes back in week two, with a bigger role and produces well, then maybe the message worked?

About the coaches:
"I thought KB did a great job stepping in there when we needed him. Made a big play for us," Belichick told WEEI's The Greg Hill Show.
“I feel like Kendrick did a great job of staying ready, didn’t have any reps throughout the course of the game, and was able to come in and make a huge play for us down the stretch,” said Brown. “That was a true sign of being a professional by Kendrick. Just being ready at all times. He did it for us last year, and he’s continued to do it for us this year.”
You say coaches pulled him after only 2 snaps. Why was that? Because he sucked at pulling in a 41 yard reception (making him #2 in yds behind Meyers, AGAIN)?
Dude, if you don't see how it was a mistake to at the very least try to get Bourne more involved after the poor production by the other 3 receivers, I don't know what to tell you. I guess whatever the coaches decide is perfectly fine with you because they don't make mistakes (6 rings and all).
Kraft and Bourne had a date. They went to Celtics game together in Kraft's limo. Kraft even showed Bourne his chain. They're homies. Get with the program.Anyone who thinks this dynamic is good has been watching too much Survivor or whatever that is. Kraft bossing around Belicjick over Kendrick Bourne, of all people. I was perfectly fine with Kraft telling BB you gotta keep Brady around back in 2017. Kendrick Bourne? Ridiculous
You mean like you extrapolating his 1 catch for 40 to 28 for >1000 in response to my post. Got it.Again with the Black and White, all or nothing kind of arguments in bold there. We can have an honest discussion about this once you point out where I've ever said that every decision the coaches make is fine with me because they've won six rings. Until then I see no point in arguing with someone who's going to strawman like that.
Homies yeah Bwoy!Kraft and Bourne had a date. They went to Celtics game together in Kraft's limo. Kraft even showed Bourne his chain. They're homies. Get with the program.
It's perfectly fine to discipline players. The question is by how much and for how long. Especially if it's to the detriment of winning a game. They could've easily had him sit in the bathroom for a week every time Fat Matt used it after raiding the cafeteria. That would've straightened his ass out. For sure.Put it to you this way, had Tom or Gronk been "late to a team meeting" or "not buying in", this crap Bill/Patricia is pulling does not happen. Bill was supposed to be known to "treat players equally", but there's some players even he knows he can't mess with.
Mac said he always knows where Bourne is on the field. Why in the Holy F would you take that chemistry away from your young QB?Ok let's just agree to disagree but I'll say this Mac Jones will be much more happier with Bourne in the line-up consistently.
Why did we get Patricia? It should've been Flores as offensive coordinator. Hell we could've gotten wes welker
Yes unappreciatedOff topic, but I thought it was odd that on Sunday the camera showed Welker a bunch of times and the announcers were never like "Hey! Look! It's Wes Welker!" given that he played for both teams and was a NE icon for half a decade, transformed the position, was like the second or third most important player on the 2007 team, etc.
The time was right on Sunday.Relax folks.....Bourne will get his snaps when the time is right.
Sitting in the bathroom 7-8 times a day would have been detrimental to his preparation. He’d have no time to work out or study film. It's perfectly fine to discipline players. The question is by how much and for how long. Especially if it's to the detriment of winning a game. They could've easily had him sit in the bathroom for a week every time Fat Matt used it after raiding the cafeteria. That would've straightened his ass out. For sure.
Considering we got our ass kicked and the offense sucked, the time was very right.Relax folks.....Bourne will get his snaps when the time is right.
Glad this poll got posted. Once Bill sees this he will make any immediate adjustment. (sic)Relax folks.....Bourne will get his snaps when the time is right.
