Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Wow, that would be another amazing stat to have.

But tells you what a sad state the Bucs were in. Hard to believe that they have 2 SB and should be a contender for a 3rd. That would land them behind Pats, Steelers, 49rs, Cowboys and I think that's it.

Giants and Packers have 4

Yeah, I forgot the Packers had the 2 SB wins instead of 1 right away.

Thought the Giants had 3. It should have been 3. They should have lost one of 2007 or 2011 if it weren't for incredible luck.

If Chris Godwin doesn't play Sunday -- very possible -- Bucs will have less than half of their total offensive snaps from last year's opener vs. Cowboys. 342 of 715 back -- DSmith, Wirfs, Brady played every snap, Evans all but four in that game. Much has changed on that side.

This is from a main stream newspaper from my area. Sadly, it seems the smoke from the fire is real. On the upside, it seems to be a rough patch in their marriage. Nothing that rededication and work towards their marriage can't cure,.. like a Brady for real retirement. After this season of course.

Whatever a man has going in his personal life is none of my business. Including Aaron Rodgers

Haha I wouldn't call him a fraud because he is pretty amazing at throwing that football, but there's more to being a QB than that and is extremely overrated.

I’ll call him a fraud o plat fantasy and do a lot of research o forget the exact number but his TDs with 5 yards the last two seasons almost doubled the next qb. I wonder why when you have Aaron jones

I think the distinction is that Godwin is doing everything, and the non-contact jersey is a limitation on what others are doing and not him.

Godwin is still very much uncertain. Hasn’t been fully cleared, though that still could come. Making good progress. I’ll be surprised if we hear anything from Bucs before inactives 90 minutes before kickoff Sunday night in Dallas.

How many rounds will the Gisele fight be? MILLIONS maybe BILLIONS

Tom Brady Sr. is happy for his son Jr.

Buccaneers WR Mike Evans on the Cowboys secondary: “They definitely improved from the 2020 season to 2021. They got way better, (Trevon) Diggs got way better. They’ve got a really great pass rush and the DBs know that. So (we need to) hold them up front and run good routes also.”

Extensive slo-mo waves crashing here, and Brady says he knows he can’t just roll his helmet out “and they’ll all genuflect.” Good stuff …

So who fills the in-line blocking void created by #Gronk's retirement? Joe Tryon-Shoyinka suggests it could be his old @UW_Football teammate, Cade Otton: "Cade blocks his ass off."

Bucs coach Todd Bowles says he wants WR Chris Godwin to feel healthy and ready before he plays and that decision will be up to Godwin and the doctors, so a combination of both.

Brady is still 9,788 yards shy of Jameis Winston's all-time Bucs record in passing yards. Would take two more seasons to break that one.

I hope things smooth over in time but honestly I don't have much hope. Some of the fanbase has really turned on him worst than our most hated rivals. I don't see why he would spend a lot of time up here. What is ironic is the Patriots actually need him more as he is the face of the dynasty and as they limp along as a .500 team going forward, the lure of Brady and the dynastic good feelings won't be punctuated with Brady's presence. That really has to irk Robert who is the ultimate business man. They really blew it. Not sure I can think of another sports franchise who has a worse relationship with its most revered player.
It’s rightly being compared to the trade of Babe Ruth.

It was also a huge risk for Brady to go to a team like the Bucs when he did. If he “fell off a cliff,” or the team was such an irredeemable ****show that absolutely nobody could win there (classic Lions) it would of been a slight blow to his legacy, but he won a Super Bowl, and instead elevated it to indisputable GOAT to everyone but the non-serious.

Meanwhile, Belichick looking like an idiot. People wanted to hate Tommy so much they were eager to give Bill all the credit and now he’ll get far, far less.

With Gisele gone, Tommy 's golf game will be in the ****ter. I forgot, it was there before he left. She will get the house who will get the boat? When Tommy the K throws that long bomb what thought will be going on in his brain? I say Giseke naked. He will overthrow as usual. I am speaking about Tom's long bomb, ha ha ha what?
