Where you getting that from? His last comments on the Patriots was him saying he was going to be involved in the region once he's done. Unless you're talking about living there

I think it was just "nice speak." He did not mention the Patriots at all in his fake retirement speech. His photo for his fake retirement was him on the sideline beating the Patriots last year. He speaks with his teeth clenched every time he has to mention Bill. I mean I don't blame him. He was treated terrible on the way out when he had multiple years of championship football left.

Peyton Manning = Aaron Rodgers

Although they are both elite, they are both media darlings and while deserving of many accolades and awards, they are overrepresented with their MVPs. If their last name was Brees, their MVPs would be reduced by 2 or 3 each.

They are both great regular season QBs but come playoff time, they are just average. They aren't even good. Russell Wilson is an example of a much better playoff QB.

Yeah, if you replaced Brady with a rookie, Bucs' ranking in the average age of 53-man roster would drop from first to fifth on that switch alone.

This is a good point from Jon. Wild to think Bucs no longer have McLendon (36), Suh (35), Gronk (33) and JPP (33) from last season and still have the oldest 53 in the league.

Reading between the lines, I think Brady is OK with what went down but it's obvious that he doesn't have warm and fuzzy feelings.

It's pretty easy to conceptualize when thinking of a past relationships with an ex that went great for years. But at the end, the ex wanted to go a different direction or go younger, or wanted to see other people/remain friends. They had a great thing going but it ended prematurely for not a very good reason.

IMO to Brady, it was good while it lasted, but doesn't dwell on it because he was forced to move on before the end. He has a more business like feeling towards the Pat org. Opposite situation to Edelman really.

But at the end, the ex wanted to go a different direction or go younger, or wanted to see other people/remain friends. They had a great thing going but it ended prematurely for not a very good reason.

I hope things smooth over in time but honestly I don't have much hope. Some of the fanbase has really turned on him worst than our most hated rivals. I don't see why he would spend a lot of time up here. What is ironic is the Patriots actually need him more as he is the face of the dynasty and as they limp along as a .500 team going forward, the lure of Brady and the dynastic good feelings won't be punctuated with Brady's presence. That really has to irk Robert who is the ultimate business man. They really blew it. Not sure I can think of another sports franchise who has a worse relationship with its most revered player.

Don't know how he really feels about the org or the fans but I think BB and Tom are probably at least on decent terms since after their private postgame conversation after the Bucs game last season.
