At this point just hoping the game is competitive lol show me something to be hopeful for post September. Looking at the schedule 10 wins may still be very doable even with a 1-3 start if we eventually sort things out. But im thinking September will be a struggle.

Tua sucks.

They can't run the ball.

Flo and his intimate knowledge of our system is no longer an advantage. I don't care if Boyer is still there.

They have implemented a new offensive system. Do we really think they'll come out like the 94 49ers Week 1?

We have our own problems but so do they.

It'll be an ugly game - as usual.

Could go either way.

See ya week 1 Flowers.

The Dolphins first team offense looked very good last night, granted it was against the 2nd team Eagles. They were moving the ball like a hot knife through butter.

Just hope pats line can generate some pressure, otherwise dolphins will score a lot of points

We get to see Trey Flowers week 1…just wearing aqua blue

So Hill can even make Tua look good ….and definitely opens up their offense. Have to definitely game plan for Hill. Pats notoriously have a tough time in Miami. I don’t see us winning this game especially with our OL issues and Run D……hope the Pats can keep it close

We’ll double Hill. That’s something we’ve always done. The question is - do we have anyone who can guard Waddle one on one? If not, we’re looking at a ton of Cover-2, Cover-3. Tua can find the holes in the zone and if we go Cover-2 Man, Gesicki going to split us right down the seam.

Bill may want to dust off his Super Bowl XXV game plan on defense for this one. Stay in Nickel and Dime and invite them to run the ball.

Hill is a cheat code

He is, but Waddle is a burner, too. They don’t just use him on 7, 8, and 9 routes. He can kill you on short crossers, screens, slants, etc. Having someone who can man up on him would open the defensive playbook quite a bit.

The phish sites said that he (Waddle) sat a lot in preseason cause his ‚legs were tight‘ (? hamstring ?). Don’t know if that will mean much in 2 weeks

I have no gripes with what BB is doing at all; just thought this was funny:

Funny, but he forgot to rip the sleeves off.

Is there any news on Ty Mont? I thought he could be our secret weapon against this blitz heavy team. Now, Im expecting Rhamondre early on 3rd downs and then... unfortunately, I think it will be JJ Taylor, since none of the two rookie Rbs we took this draft do, if Stevenson doesn't do well

But, yeah, everything is secondary if our O-Line does not improve, a lot, by then.

On defense... If we see Tavai out there, all this "getting faster" thing is BS. Tbh, Ive been one Bentley's first and fiercest defender, but I kinda want to see McMillan and Wilson out there together, although i have a suspition we are going to see a lot of Safeties all over for this game. But Tavai being out would be nice

Jonathan Jones has usually covered Hill and done a good job. He's got the speed & quickness to hang with both.
I don't know who else can. Mills is our 2nd best cb but don't think he can cover either of these 1:1. The 2 rookie Joneses have speed but are obviously rooks, and would get toasted by either.
Will be interesting to see what Belichick does.

I agree. I think it will be Mills on Waddle, and Jo Jones on Hill (with McCourty help). Duggar or Philips on Gesicki (remember when the Pats tried JJ Williams on him?), and hopefully Marcus Jones in the slot (please God not Myles Bryant).

I like the Pats and try to stay positive, but Tavai and Myles Bryant are hard to root for. If both are not with the team this Wednesday, I am a happy guy.

As crazy as it sounds...is it possible BB puts the speedy Ja. Jones on Waddle?

Does not sound crazy, but Ja Jones gets burned, so maybe BB waits until November to start playing him regularly? If you do not love Ja Jones you do not have a pulse.

Saying that, M Bryant can give you a heart attack.

If I had to bet, we are gonna see a lot more zone than Man C

Wasnt this the point of getting these lbers and safeties?
