It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Well I don't think the Patriots will be in the Drivers seat in a potential Wynn trade. I don't think there are many positive Pro Tapes of him playing.Well, considering you want Leatherwood, your evaluations of players leave a lot to be desired.
I said a 2nd because that's what an Above average starting player goes for.
Hasn't Wynn made it obvious that he isn't coming back to the Patriots next year? It would not be unheard of for them to trade him now rather than wait to see if they can get a comp pick in two years.
Yes, but then they have to wait three weeks beyond the length of the settlement. Most likely with a concussion, it’d be a 0 week settlement so they could sign him after week 3, or maybe a 1 week settlement so they could sign him after week 4. He’d also have to choose to remain unemployed for those 3 weeks rather than sign with a new team that doesn’t have to wait the three weeks.I don't know if the Pats can waive/injured Wilkerson with the Concussion and then give him an injury settlement or not. The rules are kinda weird on that. If they can't and are required to carry him until they can put him on the normal IR, that's an extra roster spot tied up.
Has Wynn made his feelings known on the situation? I hadn't heard that he did so I'd be interested in a link if you have one.
Possible but it would depend on the level of confidence team X would have in him long term.I wouldn't be shocked at all. They'd probably have a long term deal in place to lower the cap hit.
Wow! he said all that? Wish he played like that Mr. talk the talk then sits in the hot tub.Do you mean aside from the fact that he refused to do an extension to lower his cap hit this year? His salary is currently the fifth highest cap hit on the team.
Wynn's only comments on his contract when asked was, "I ain’t worried about no contract right now. I’m focused on being the best player I can be for the team, so we can move forward to the season. I’m not worried about any of that right now. That will come when it comes."
Many have interpreted these comments as him being uninterested in an extension.
When did Wynn refuse an extension? Source?Do you mean aside from the fact that he refused to do an extension to lower his cap hit this year? His salary is currently the fifth highest cap hit on the team.

Hard to play without a T. Cajuste and Herron are severe downgrades. We don't even need much for this to be worth it given the cap savings. I'm for it as long as we have a 5th and 6th OL we trust.
Wynn is roasted constantly.Harry took a lot heat, but Wynn doesn't for some odd reason. He was/is a terrible draft pick.
He’s an enormous drop off in both talent and durability.Just my opinion, but even if he's good when he plays, it's tough to build OL continuity when you aren't on the field consistently. The best OLs are ones where the guys are playing nearly every game together at the same position.
I'd be fine with Yodny if he's a bit of a drop off talent wise, but is more durable (which I'm not sure he is, doesn't Yodny also have an injury history?).
There's tons of defenders here.Wynn is roasted constantly.
Wynn was 100% more productive than Harry was here.Harry took a lot heat, but Wynn doesn't for some odd reason. He was/is a terrible draft pick.
That may be the case...but he is still roasted constantly. There's tons of defenders here.
Wynn did manage to play well for stretches of seasons. Harry couldn't string 2 positive snaps together to save his life. Big difference.Harry took a lot heat, but Wynn doesn't for some odd reason. He was/is a terrible draft pick.
You can say that again I don't get it Wynn has yet to impress me.There's tons of defenders here.
Help me understand why you'd want to add someone who was one of the worst starting Offensive linemen in the league in 2021? He allowed 8 sacks and took 14 penalties last year.
Wynn was 100% more productive than Harry was here.
Wynn's issue is durability- not skill and production.
Wynn caught heat last year for some lapses in concentration- which are unacceptable.
I think his production is overrated on here. While he did show some flashes at times, there was a 2-3 game stretch last year were he was getting trucked by DE's. Overall, he's unreliable, not that good and it was idiotic picking up his option.Wynn did manage to play well for stretches of seasons. Harry couldn't string 2 positive snaps together to save his life. Big difference.
