Just my opinion, but even if he's good when he plays, it's tough to build OL continuity when you aren't on the field consistently. The best OLs are ones where the guys are playing nearly every game together at the same position.
I'd be fine with Yodny if he's a bit of a drop off talent wise, but is more durable (which I'm not sure he is, doesn't Yodny also have an injury history?).
IMO he is a guard who they are seeing if he is versatile enough to also play T.Is Arlington Hambright a Guard or Tackle??
So he is under contract so they can trade him. Call it asset mgt.But....why pick up his (rather hefty) option if they're just going to trade him?
Hmmmmm maybe they are convinced.IMO he is a guard who they are seeing if he is versatile enough to also play T.

In addition they had no idea what they had at LT and RT. Sure Brown is here but everything after him is a ?
$10m for a starting T is reasonable.
Not going to happen.
Way too late in the off season, especially with the line in flux due to the changes...
I think they'd put Albright in at RG and kick Onwenu out to RT. As you said, Cajuste has been more injured then Wynn. I think it would need to be a second round pick. Anyone talking 3rd/4th is being foolish..Cajuste has been more injured than Wynn over his career. Relying on Cajuste so you trade away Wynn seems beyond weird to me, unless youlike the prospect of Yasir Durant playing in the event of an injury, or Ferentz inside while kicking Onwenu outside.
No thanks to any of this.
I wouldn't be shocked at all. They'd probably have a long term deal in place to lower the cap hit.I'd be shocked if any team trading for him eats all $10m.
Maybe we trade with the Raiders and get Leatherwood plus a pick and save $10M on the Cap?
Really because Wynn has played Elite? Are we talking about Chandler Jones or Jamie Collins in his prime?? Wynn has not played like a First Rounder or I must be Stevie Wonder or Ray Charles.I think they'd put Albright in at RG and kick Onwenu out to RT. I think you're gonna have Ferentz instead of Durant. I mean, has Durant seen 2nd team snaps? This isn't a disaster as long as they stay relatively healthy ...
C (2) D.Andrews, K.Russey
G (4) M.Onwenu, C.Strange, A.Hambright, Y.Durant
T (3) T.Brown, Y.Cajuste, J.Herron
I was thinking Ferentz instead of Durant but it's Ferentz. You're probably right. It's too heavy at C and G if that's the case.I think you're gonna have Ferentz instead of Durant. I mean, has Durant seen 2nd team snaps?
Well, considering you want Leatherwood, your evaluations of players leave a lot to be desired.Really because Wynn has played Elite? Are we talking about Chandler Jones or Jamie Collins in his prime?? Wynn has not played like a First Rounder or I must be Stevie Wonder or Ray Charles.
They might cut both and got light on the o-line the 1st 3 games since they can bring up a Vet player like Ferentz w/o having to clear waivers.I was thinking Ferentz instead of Durant but it's Ferentz. You're probably right. It's too heavy at C and G if that's the case.
