Patriots Training Camp- Wednesday August 17th

Two defenders were staring him down, he was basically double-teamed, and he just shook them both like it was nothing and ended up wide open in the end zone. Trying to temper my expectations but wow.
Was the one holding him CJ Henderson?

I'm a little concerned about Bourne. The real twist is if he gets the boot.

Sorry if this one was already posted...Peppers getting some nice shots in

Yeah, I'm getting super excited. He's also got crazy good hands. Good catch technique and has some shimmy to him

He has the 5th highest salary cap hit for WR’s this year.
Look at overall contract and stop looking at yearly hits. That's a stupid way to do it. Lots of players have increased salary in one year or another based on contract terms. He's #30 btw

Yeah, I called a Bourne trade last Thursday in the preseason game 1 pre-game thread, and discussed it further in another recent thread (believe it was the "depth or no depth" thread). I've kept my eye on his activity since then and he's quite honestly doing little to nothing. Not sure what's going on there, but something is up.

Many on this board think Wilkerson, Nixon, Roberts, and Ray will not make it through waivers.

One, maybe two will be claimed, and I don't think Ray is in the top two.

There's only one guy of the four you mention that was ever high on NFL boards and thats Ray. It takes very little for a guy like that to attract attention again.

Im sure NFL took notice when Bill signed him after the boy squandered his college time. And you better believe the league takes notice when a guy like this flashes under BB.

Average WRs are a dime a dozen, decent 0-5T rushers are always in demand..

If one gets a concussion while plugged into the Matrix, would one get a concussion in the real world as well?

I guess it depends on the virtual video helmet, is it the top of the line one with the realistic concussion feature? ;)

Shook them both within 5 yards of the LOS.

It seems if the offensive line can work things out, the team is pretty deep.

Unfortunately that is a big IF.

To me OL is the heart of the team and it is baffling how poorly it was managed after Dante left.
Dominant OL or at least solid (incl depth) gives rhythm and confidence to the offense and keeps the D fresh.

Henry is another absolute key to this offence - and nobody seems to care about his absence, at least not half as much as the bubble WRs : )

Coming up and constantly starting fights in joint practices is like 3-win team behavior. Rhule's lack of control is freezing him out of doing joint practices with anyone in the future, assuming he has much of one.

Now that his play is aligning with his contract some see a trade. I see Agholor and Parker as our starting WRs.

Those 10M would look good if it translates into signing Flowers or some other addition. If it's just to put it back in Kraft's pocket... Best for the team to just keep the player.
@mgcolby @rochrist

What are you finding disagreeable? My point was just that creating cap space for the sake of creating cap space is of no benefit to the team if the money is left unused.

I much prefer they keep Agholor, though. What looks like depth now can look quite different when the games count.

The areas Bill's teams seem to develop guys are OL and CB.

I know Scar had a lot to do with it, but even last year they got it together after people said Mac was going to get killed early.

So I'm more positive regarding Bill's ability to fix the OL than if it were WR's or DL for example.

I usually associate "these two teams do not like each other" with division rivals rather than random hicks.

I will be upset if Wilkerson's 1/2 chance falls victim to joint practices w the Carolina Fight Club
