Johnson was supposed to be a top 10 pick with top 10 talent. Now there may be something we don’t know about him that made him drop for a reason. But at least on paper, he would be a better player than they were originally targeting at 21.
Whose post? His post said a better player could be available at 29 which is impossible. Not all the players available at 21 will be available at 29.
The value could obviously be better there which I agree with.
Najee Harris, Greg Rousseau, Tyson Campbell, Elijah Moore in 2021 all were day 1 contributors. Justin Jefferson, Brandon Aiyuk, Kenneth Murray, Cesar Ruiz, Patrick Queen, Clyde Edwards-Heliarire, Tee Higgins, Michael Pittman, DeAndre Swift all were day 1 contributors in 2020. Tytus Howard, Josh Jacobs, Marquise Brown, Montez Sweat, all day 1 contributors in 2019.The guys you pick at 21 are rarely if ever immediate contributors. For any team. All the guys picked after 20 need development. Quay Walker, McDuffie, Elam, so will Jermaine Johnson
I'm just confused on who's going to be available at 29 that wasn't available at 21?
The player doesn't get better. The value does. Potentially.
Thinking that a receiver or a trade down.We could have Daxton Hill, Devin Lloyd or Nakobe Dean at 29
Honestly I wanted McDuffie or Jermaine Johnson. Both are now gone.Who did you want? If he's there at 29, will you admit it was a great trade?
