One alternative is to accept the personal views of so many posters that we are a below average defense and a below average offense.
Stats aren't everything, but they are something.
Very personally, I think it is very, very strange to think that the number of points scored by a team doesn't matter, and that the number of points that a team gives up doesn't matter. I suppose that in this view either every game is 50% or the likelihood of winning is best projected by posters whose opinions are the best indicator, and who purposely ignore the stats of players and teams.
The points scored say that the 2021 Patriots had the #6 offense in the NFL last season. Do you think that the Patriots really had the sixth best offense in the NFL last season? If not, where would you rank it, and why is it different from the ranking?
The points allowed say that the 2021 Patriots had the #2 defense in the NFL last season. Do you think that the Patriots really had the second best defense in the NFL last season? If not, where would you rank it, and why is it different from the ranking?
