The Patriots allowed the 5th fewest receiving yards to opposing RBs and TEs combined last season.Cousin, Methinks he is going to play OLB here like Judge used him a lot. To unreliable in pass to cover WR but should be fine on TE and RB coverage which ....please note......we got killed last year on those paterns.
This is incentive based, whenever you see "up to 5mm" that's going to be mostly incentivized....will be looking when the breakdown comes out to see what the "true" cap hit is.This will put the Pats close to the cap, curious to see what route they take to free up more space.
lol, if BB takes a safety before taking a Cb, Wr or OL, I think the fan base will totally lose it.Good signing. Bill probably still takes a safety high in the draft but still a good signing.
Given the team's needs and depending on what you mean by high, this would be a very questionable move.Good signing. Bill probably still takes a safety high in the draft but still a good signing.
good point on NT, I think adding a CB or two as well will be needed. This team needs a proven NT badly in order get the most out of these box safeties (Dugger, Phillips, Peppers) & hopefully lighter, smaller LBs. Travis Jones would help complete the D IMO.
Who is out there for trade? This team needs a proven NT badly in order get the most out of these box safeties (Dugger, Phillips, Peppers) & hopefully lighter, smaller LBs. Travis Jones would help complete the D IMO.

I think we are better off drafting one. This team needs a proven NT badly in order get the most out of these box safeties (Dugger, Phillips, Peppers) & hopefully lighter, smaller LBs. Travis Jones would help complete the D IMO.
True, but I believe that with Butler's expected hit that the Pats cap is currently around 4m, so I would expect a few moves regardless. This is incentive based, whenever you see "up to 5mm" that's going to be mostly incentivized....will be looking when the breakdown comes out to see what the "true" cap hit is.
A traditional safety, I agree. I can still see a guy like Dax Hill being drafted early who can play CB as well as safety (overlapping McCourty’s skill set), as that could be part of the solution at corner.lol, if BB takes a safety before taking a Cb, Wr or OL, I think the fan base will totally lose it.
How well can he play man?A traditional safety, I agree. I can still see a guy like Dax Hill being drafted early who can play CB as well as safety (overlapping McCourty’s skill set), as that could be part of the solution at corner.
chest piece
It means you have to know how to use him. He's better against the run. Not so much in pass coverage.Anyone want to try reconciling those two parts of the Lazar quote?
Accurate if you classify the 7 as all weighing under 240 lbsPats going to a 4-7 defense.
