OT: Tyreek Hill to Miami

More bad news for the Patriots... 2022 is looking pretty bleak at this point.
Is that the worst thing in the world?

I'm not being a smart ass.

But it's one of those things where would you rather be in the middle (8-8 or 9-8). Or, take your lumps and potentially make big splashes in 2023. All the while getting top picks?

Sometimes you gotta take 2 steps back in order to take big steps forward.

oh stop ****ing whining and stop saying "we" if you don't like it.
That eliminates 100% of the fans here then who say "we" and whine at one time or another necessitating renaming this website sunshine.com

What's the point of posts like these?

It's a discussion board, people will have different takes. Some positive, some negative. It ain't a big deal.

Just when you have some some bright teams making moves maximizing the talent they have on their roster....you then have Miami trading for a WR when they have a pea shooting QB. These are the trades why bad teams stay bad.

I believe Hill's contract in effect is more like 3 years at $25M. Either way, their 11 personnel looks scary AF.

Thing I don't understand is McDaniel comes from a system that uses more 21 and 22 personnel than anything else. That puts only 1 to 2 WRs on the field. Seems in conflict w/ having Hill, Waddle, Parker and Wilson. That's a lot of speed and crazy depth. If you try to double Hill, one of Waddle, Parker or Gesicki will feast.

“Tua doesn’t scare me” umm have the Pats even beaten him yet?
He really doesn't scare me. However, the Pats D for some reason, can't contain or rattle him enough.

It's bizarre.

There's nothing "dying" about CA, except for the drought.
I agree. I live in SoCal and aside from businesses being affected and people moving to out of state, it seems exaggerated that it's "dying" or a terrible place to live.
California is a **** hole, and I live in the state.
Do you live in SoCal or NoCal? SoCal is fine if you are along the coast, slightly inland or you're in the rich LA areas.

Tua will flop...8 games in Bridgewater takes over...then watch out IMO

mcdaniel might have been the OC, but kyle shanahan was running that offense...

Parker to Packers or Ravens?

McDaniel loves YAC!!! He's obsessed with guys like Deebo & Aiyuk. Hill is on top that mountain. Hill & Waddle are an absolute nightmare to cover holy smokes.

I suppose they're going to take their lumps either way but I don't think this was the plan when Belichick/Kraft doled out $160 million in guaranteed money last offseason. Also, I don't really want Mac Jones hung out to dry in year two since he's the centerpiece of the team's future. I'm hoping Jameson Williams (a.k.a. the next Tyreek Hill) falls to the Patriots in the draft but I doubt that will happen.

By the way, I think KC will be just fine moving on from Hill... Mahomes is too good.

I’m gonna locate my popcorn for the responses to this
Have 0 intentions of answering replies. Just set a match and walked away.

Yea but he came up in the same system with McVay, Shanahan, LaFleur. I doubt he's going away from what he knows best. He's supposed to be one of these young offensive nerds.

last season, SF ran a 1-1 (3wr) for 48% of their offensive snaps, compared to the 12 (10%), and 22 (7%)

How about 21?
