Fournette visiting Pats

I do think that is entirely possible. He led all TEs in YAC. Unfortunately he also would just have horrendous moments. I think lots of potential which hopefully can be realised

I also think as Mac improves and gains more confidence in the offense, it opens up more and more concepts that can be used to emphasize different players. Doesn't necessarily mean it works out in benefit of guys like Smith and Agholor, but the possibility is there for both guys to have better production as Mac learns how to use them better.

Looks like Fournette was just here for a Stadium Tour.

Re-signed with Tampa. For those numbers, I’m good

I don’t believe those will be the real numbers. The actual deal is probably more like 2 years, $12-$14 million.

So was this a waste of time for the Pats and Fournette only visited so he could try to get as much as he could out of the Bucs ?

Wouldn't surprise me if they knew that already.

If nothing else, the Pats forced Tampa to pony up more money for Fournette, meaning they might not be able to afford the next player that both TB and NE vie for.

This sounds like a complete waste of everybody's time, except Fournette. Surely the Pats have got better things to do than host someone who is only using you for leverage.

Favor to an agent or something like that. Or there was legitimate interest.

Consider it scouting for the next time we play him.

Fournette's agent: you want to max out the money from Tampa?
LF: Well ya.
Agent: Go visit Foxboro.

Brady: He did what? Oh that's not f*&%ing happening. *dials Licht*

The Bucs are now $7.5 million over the cap. They are essentially the same team as last year (Mason for Marpet, Ryan for Whitehead) minus Gronk, JPP, and Suh.

You forgot the on the second one. A joke oh noes how terrible.

Home the Team gets reimbursed for lunch and dinner greedy dude.

Really? Why no knocks against Trent Brown who spent 2 days in Seattle? Should Donte Hightower have reimbursed the Jets for the cupcakes they gave him?

This happens all the time, in sports and in real life, people take a visit elsewhere to get leverage against their current employer that they ultimately don’t want to leave but think’s isn’t paying them or treating them right. And it should happen. These are people’s lives here.

Yeah just like how Bill traded one of the leagues best guards to the Bucs for peanuts, to clog up their salary so that 1 out of the other 31 teams in the league will possibly maybe be less able to pay for a player you may or may not want in the indeterminate future. Makes perfect sense.

Spotrac has them at 14mil under before the fournette deal...I don't think they're over yet
