"competitive team" means competing for a SRidiculous take. Elite franchises aim for championships not one and done in the playoffs and a downward trend. Pats fans have every right to aim high and want a SB competitive team.
I disagree. Their schedules are very difficult.I would not be surprised if all 4 AFC west teams make the playoffs...

3 "tough" games against the NFCW (SF, LAR, ARIZ)
1 more "tough" opponent - TEN

I expect KC to have a tough time making the playoffs.
