Jesus, we’re still doing this revisionist history ****? Bill tried to move on to Janeane Garofalo like six years ago. He starved the offense of talent, he tried to trade Gronk to ****ing Detroit.

It’s all so tiresome.
my Bad, I didn’t realize you were in the room when everything went down all those years. In any case, Bradys omission of anything NE when he announced his retirement from the NFL, wasn’t cool. That’s all I’m saying.

You must have been a delight in history class. “Mr Teacher, are you SURE that they actually signed the Declaration of Independence? I mean you weren’t actually there, you just read about it in some book.”

The problem with the Bradyites is that they just didn’t root for Brady to do well. They openly rooted for his new team, as evidenced by a 514 page thread. Those same people didn’t do much posting on the Patriots over the last two years. They put Brady ahead of the Patriots just because…he’s Tommy. Now that he’s retired, these folks have to choose between coming back to the main board and cheer for the Patriots again or leave voluntarily since their hero is gone.

The NFL is entertainment for me, specifically the Pats.
It's electronic images on a screen.

I loved watching Brady and comparing him and the coaching to the other sideline. If you counted 1...2...3...you knew Brady had enough time and was going to carve up the other team. I enjoyed watching other head coaches pee their pants during crunch time. Their poor clock management. The other team making dumb calls and getting dumb penalties at crucial times. It wasn't just the winning, it was how the whole package was so buttoned up compared to the rest. We may not see that again, but we can hope.

Now the Pats are not so tight. They are the ones taking the dumb penalties and making bad calls.
I expect BB to right the ship. He always has. I look forward to watching Mac's and the team's development.

When Brady moved on, so did I. He no longer plays for the Patriots.
You all can argue about whose fault it was until your gonads fall off. No one here knows how it actually went down.

The end was inevitable. We were always going to see Brady in another uniform, ala Joe Montana or Bobby Orr.
There was always going to be a cost vs value with BB.
I am sincerely happy he got out on top instead of lingering with diminished skills or due to a crippling injury.
I'm glad he retired and put a bow on it. It's over.
I hated seeing him in that ridiculous uniform.

Brady owes me nothing and I owe him no loyalty.
I have my own life. It's interesting enough for me with beautiful scenery, close encounters with bears, and killing things for clean meat.
I appreciate the great run and all he did during his time here.

I'm sure he will also make it right with the Patriots organization in due time.

It’s been super easy to troll the living **** out of this forum with anti-Brady bull**** masked as pro-Belichick positions forever.

Honestly can’t believe it’s been allowed but it goes back to before even 2014.

Despite some of his public comments, I have no doubt that deep down Brady still harbors anger toward, BB, perhaps Kraft and the patriots organization. This was evident in his Instagram post.
Not sure I can lame him. He gave the Patriots everything he had for 19 years, told them he wanted to be a Patriot fro life and basically they quit on him and gave up on him. He was embraced and welcomed with open arms by his new team.
Ask yourself, if you were in this position, wouldn't you be pissed.
He gave this organization so much...and BB and Kraft would not pay him for a lousy 2 or 3 extra years.
Kraft stood idly by while all this happened.

What a career ... but he owes nothing to anybody ... he gave all he had to the teams(s) he played for.

Pantywaists out there ... stop your whining and complaining ... you enjoyed him ... he was great to enjoy watching the game.

Like you're the judge and jury of his retirement ... LMAO ... STFU naysayers.

He owes you nothing ... you are irrelevant to why even played ... live your life Tom ... as you always have.

Schefter and all the others who disrespected Tom and his decision ... A-holes to Brady and the games and teams and the NFL Sunday.

Like to be first to report makes one important ... so ROFL. This why I watch sports more now than I talk ... enjoyment of sport ... it is not life.

Find it funny that despite some of you clowns, Giselle herself posted a lengthy instagram post of photos of her and Brady with him on both the Bucs AND Pats.

Could never quite figure out why but I always liked her

TODAY :

Source: Tom Brady is planning to sign a one-day contract with the New England Patriots and retire with the franchise with which he played for 20 years. He spoke with Robert Kraft this morning and will fly to Massachusetts for a ceremony.

SO, how does that work? He is still under contract with Bucs??

That got debunked by Volin and Curran

"Where did you go , Johny Foxboro? "

Imagine that chant breaking out next season in Gillette similar to how soccer crowds chant during games.

That would be a hell of a response.

well..OK!! Since we're all airing our complaints and showing Brady's dirty laundry I'm going to tell all of you right now..especially Dinglebingles, Waxy Croakman, and Mousey The T driver....I will never ever forgive Gizelle for dissing me and my advances and choosing to hook up with this cheap alkaline ionized designer water huckster...Scam Brady!! Why Giselle, why???????????

You've done it again, Joe. This collection of words has never before been put together, in this order, in the history of mankind. Another incredibly original and genuine post. How do you do it?

This is where I am at. We are fans. As fans he in part gave us the greatest dynasty ever, 18 seasons of amazing play, 6 Super Bowls we will never forget, made our franchise one of the cornerstone legendary sports franchises, countless game winning drives and enjoyment.

I kinda think this whole thing is overblown anyways because he'll probably do stuff with New England in the future, but if he never does anything with the franchise ever again.... we already got more than enough from him. We wanted to watch a good team and he helped give us the thing every single NFL fan wishes they could see in their lifetime.

Think about that. Every fan right now besides some 45+ year old 49'ers fans and some 80-90 something year old Packers fans wishes they could see something like what we got in our lifetime. And Brady along with Bill Belichick are the centerpieces. Decades from now when people talk about the glory days of the Patriots it's going to be about the run we all witnessed. When the greatest dynasty's are reflected on, it will be this one at the top.
