I know of some dreadful moments that I couldn't appreciate at the time for how comical they were (like the Toilet Bowl against the Colts), or some hilarious moments that lead to wins (Mark Henderson and the snowplow), some moments are legendary already (Sanchez's butt fumble), several moments of Schadenfreude that made me laugh (Arthur Blank coming down to celebrate on the sidelines, Rob Ryan and the entire defense celebrating victory with the Saints before Brady drove a dagger into their hearts, Zach Piller of the Titans "I can't feel my toes, I'm freaking out," after talking about how he'd be embarrassed to lose to the untalented Patriots), some bizarre moments well before my time (the coach who was electrocuted in the Schaefer Stadium restroom), but two of the moments that stand out to me as gut-wrenching at the time but hilarious in retrospect are these two:

How in the world did Welker do this with such a straight face? The delivery is the best ever of any athlete in any sport. He missed his calling, should have been an actor or comedian. I think about this now and laugh my butt off even though I recognize this as the moment that lead to the Patriots embarrassing loss to the Jets in the playoffs.

And finally, this moment is straight out of Curb Your Enthusiasm:

The whole world hung everyone involved based on those "deflate" texts during deflategate, while the "perpetrators" claimed the texts were all about "losing weight." Here we have the equipment guy holding a jacket up for a player while wearing a puffy coat during an away game in Green Bay in November. Meanwhile, back in New England, the ball boy sees his friend on TV wearing a puffy coat, and he texts him, "Deflate and give someone that jacket." This was taken as evidence of a conspiracy to deflate footballs, even though the home team controls the balls and this game was at Green Bay. If anything, it reinforced the really stupid middle school level humor between the two, as they claimed they got the "deflate" banter going after watching a weight loss commercial in the Boston area that referred to weight loss as deflation. I don't think Larry David could have written this one any better!!! Hilarious.

Butt fumble immediately followed by kick return fumble. Best sequence in football history.

Butt Fumble. It's very funny by itself (I think I spent that whole night with giggle fits), but the fact it came at the Jets' expense is my personal tiebreaker over the fake punt.

@upstater1 - This thread would make a good retrofit poll.

OK, now I heard of it!!

How about these two? (Lights Out!!!!)

We have the Butt Fumble but do you all remember the Butt Crack Tackle? I thought Crack Blocks were illegal, but the refs took pity after this one:

Something that made me laugh was hearing about Edleman saying "Coach, I need to ice my shoulder" after the 51-yd TD pass to Amendola against the Ravens with the arm rotating gesture. I probably say that every time I pass a beer across the room now lmao.

This one's gotta be up there... from 2010... go Dan! Go!!!

stadium fire, in retrospect, because no one was hurt
