NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Official Eagles @ Buccaneers Playoff Thread

Crazy that Gio Bernard and James White were in the same backfield in HS. I've always like Gio's game.

Several different media sources. Of course nobody knows but his responses have been more noncommittal than in the past. Its speculation. But I'm just rooting for another SB. Aint gonna see another qb like this in our lifetimes

Next week they’ll get Lenny and Grayson back with Wirf hopefully back at RT. Which they’re going to need either playing Rams/Cowboys

defense getting healthy.

I’ve said it all year this is his last year I can’t see him playing next year based on everything he has said to Jim Gray etc especially if they make the SB

I would put the chance of him retiring at ~0%

He has spent 10? 15? years talking about playing until 45. Why would he then retire at age 44 when he clearly still has it?
He ain't going anywhere.

I don't see him retiring after this year. While the age number has shifted, he has consistently said he will play until he sucks and that doesn't seem to be coming anytime soon
My buddy told me that Brady has 27 Buc players signed up on the TB12 plan.

I don't remember the exact words, but it seemed far too noncommittal about even next season for my tastes.
He will be 45 at the start of next year. That’s when he said he wanted to retire.

Havent kept up w. all the Bucs injuries. I know Godwin is done for the year but what about Fournette? They gettin him back soon?

Fournette and their 3rd CB should be back next week. For the first time in a while, they will have their entire starting D healthy. Right now their WRs are Evans, Miller, Tyler, Perriman Greyson, Darden. TEs are Gronk, Brate and Howard (who seems to have been phased out kind of).

They still have good depth at WR, but they lack the top end options. Wirfs is a huge question mark. They really need that great OL intact with all their other injuries. I don't think they can win without Wirfs considering the offenses they will need to face. However when fully healthy like their D is almost right now, they have one of the better Ds in the tournament.

He can easily say he wants to play through 45 if he wants. He said 45 when he was like 35. He can change his mind and keep going if he wants he’s not held to some contract signed in 2012.

And the Pats last night.

They do this in Madden now?
Yeah if the game gets out of hand early they’ll offer it up for an early concession.

Yank the starters out now!

Didn’t know that. Thanks.

I bet nobody accepts it. The last time I played, you could offer it to your opponent, but they wouldn’t accept because they would “glitch quit” when it was later in the game. They wouldn’t get a loss for the game which was a major complaint back then.

This was 10 years ago. I miss online Madden.
