I hope he stays but this isn't a bad spot to go if he's ready. I don't know a lot about the franchise but they gave Zimmer plenty of time and if I'm a prospective coach that would be one of my priorities. Cash, ability to shop for groceries, and a owner who isn't going to fire me would be my list.

And more importantly, a competent QB, which is so important. At worst, you can win 7 games with Cousins, which will keep you around. And cousins has been better each year when it comes to showing up in important games.

It's to a point where this year, there were games where the team actually costed him.

If everyone involved openly acknowledges that it'll take 5 years to get to consistent winning, then its fine. The QB situation, the cap problem, and the personnel issues are temporary, but only if understood to be part of a longer plan.

Patricia was the one running TC this year according to reporters who said Bill took a back seat. I hope I am wrong as I don't want that guy on the sidelines. But it's not McD. The only other would be his son which would be worse if that is possible.

He wasn’t t really good. He accumulated stats. Really good players make plays that win games, not just ones that look pretty on a stat sheet.
