A Frustrating Observation On N'Keal Harry

The effort Harry gave on the Mac bad throw poking it in the air was really bad and guys giving more effort have gotten benched. Then he drops a routine pass.

How he trots back onto the field, yet guys like Harris get yanked for a bad call fumble against Miami, while Harry just lumbers around the field karate chopping balls in the air. Harris is obviously way more important, while Harry is not.

And you know Harris would’ve sat had the refs ruled his 3rd TD a fumble.

the really bad part of this observation is he really effs up the timing routes when he does this... he can delay others from hitting their spots, wreck any potential picks (ie pick&roll) that he might be part of etc... its really a craptastic way to be part of it all

As I have oft repeated, I do not understand how N'Keal Harry is still on this team. He brings next to nothing. Thought he should have been cut 3, 2 and 1 year(s) ago...Keeping him seems like one of those stubborn BB "my way or the highway" decisions...

BB hasn't cut him because he was BB's pick that year, and it would be embarrassing to admit that you blew a first rnd pick this badly. The wide outs that the FO passed on are astonishing, J Brown, Deebo Samuel, DK Metcalf etc. I held out hope that he would pan out, but he needs to go as a WR. Maybe its possible that he could be used like Cordel Patterson was

Agreed; difference is, CP actually likes playing football…

A couple more, from the last drive:

Slightly faster, but still behind the other receivers. The bottom one was quicker, and he was the targeted receiver on the play (incomplete - Mac through it short)

Or because we brought in 2 guys at that position and then couldn't really afford to bring anyone in to displace him. Do we have someone better on the practice squad? Doubtful. BB has moved on quickly from blown picks in the past.

Here's the 4th-and-7 play at the end of the game. Both Bourne and Meyers are already off and Harry hasn't moved:

So close to being right. The one playing snap-count politics is josh mcD which is why crappy Wynn and NKeal keep getting 9 lives. Same thing back in the day with repeatedly trying to salvage crappy draft bust Laurence Maroney, who McD even traded for later to Denver.

Absolutely phenomenal observation.
Either he doesn't know the playbook. Or the snap count. Or has bad peripheral vision. Or poor hearing.

A terrible sign when he's already not a fast wide receiver. Even slower with the cement feet off the snap.

I still cannot believe with Agholor out the idiotic offensive staff thought the best move was give Nkeal Harry 95% of snaps, instead of playing a ton of 12 personnel with Hunter Henry, Jonnu, Meyers, and Bourne.

Another - although he was off on the snap with everyone else for the first time (although still slightly behind) the play right before this one:
