I‘m not in NE, but some EEI guy named Jones was humping for Allen over Mac. Said he would take McDermott over BB if it meant he could get Allen. Passers over QBs.

Adam Jones is on 98.5. Michael Arcan is worse than Adam Jones towards Mc Jones. And Adam Jones just said that Mac Jones is the eighth best QB in the AFC, not the NFL. He thinks Tannehill right now is better than Mac Jones. Ryan Freakin Tannehill.

If I needed to win a game tomorrow and BB is my coach i'd take Mahomes, Hebert and Allen over Mac. Burrow is having a nice year but 14 picks is a concern.

I think with Chase catching 1 pass for 3 yards and the national perception of Mac doing well making his team competitive in the second half even in a loss- I think Mac can lock up this award with a big game against Buffalo. If he has a bad one then Chase might steal it back.

My favorite 98.5 sports hub ism, is when they find one or two local extreme homers that call into the station and then use those 1 or 2 examples to paint the entire fanbase as that deluded. They can't help themselves. It's the same for political talk too

I look at it like this. Based on this years results of performance. If we were to do a redo on the draft, and you’ve got the #1 overall pick, who do you draft? Also, It’s unfair for any position to be up against a qb for an award. QBs need their own category.

He had a good game against the Browns, everyone did…but he didn’t win you that game… 302 yds against the Titans feels like a lot, but if you watched that game- he was decent between the numbers but stalled out in the high red… I think that’s what an avg an can get you against that team. One ridiculous catch and run by Bourne away from us not even using this game as an example.

Again, not hating on Mac, I just think he’s been ok… not OROY great. Still happy to have him.

I'd have to watch the entirety of the Titans game again, but that throw to Bourne was a red-area touchdown and was as perfect of a throw as one can make.

He led the team to 17 unanswered points, passed for 142 yards and 2 touchdowns. That's a really strong 4th-quarter performance.

That was much more than an "alright" 4th quarter -- it was remarkably good.
