OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

I think Brady takes a win over stats every time.

that’s not the issue here. We are taking about how “unstoppable” the Bucs offense will be against NE if we meet again.

You can clearly see it. He’s looking to the left for Evans/Godwin. Scans to the middle. Then sees Perriman has a linebacker on him and releases immediately.

Isn't Perriman another name on the list of recevers catching a TFB TD? How many is that now?

Packers lucked out so hard. they will win out. ravens and browns are no challenge for them with their QB injuries (ravens whole team is also dead)

no way Cardinals win out. if they do I’ll eat my hat. at this point I’m just hoping the packers get rams or cowboys in round 1

It was at 87 in September.

Grayson, Bernard and Perriman make 90. I think Darden is the only one left who hasn’t caught one. I’d like to see Vea go in at fullback for a shovel pass.

there is very little chance the packers will play the rams or cowboys unless rodgers is out for an extended period….

most likely the top 4 seeds will be 1) Green Bay. 2) Arizona. 3) Tampa 4) Dallas

Why are you guys interacting with Mortimer
He is…I’m not sure, but I think around 91?
This is from Sept. 21, 2021, right after 2nd game of the season. It shows 88 players. I know he's thrown to Gio, Grayson, and now Perriman. So good guess.

Lol, didn't see your post Ice. Same source. Evans already on the 2nd row in less than 2 seasons.

Yeah…the article I read had said 87, but the count is 88 (as you put in your post.). So yes, 91 now.

Just missed with Haeg and Hudson in the SB. Lol.

Seeing how Timmy is back, thought it was appropriate to quote this post from @Kontradiction that describes him perfectly.
Timmy is now Mortimer Porksley.

Now 13 years of age, Mortimer Porksley, son of Biff and Bambi Porksley, was beginning to come of age. Ever aware of his own circumstances, he has begun to worry incessantly on a day-to-day basis. One early morning, he descended down the stairs from his suite and into his mother’s room.

“Mother?”
“Yes, what is it, Mortimer?”
“I don’t want to go to school today,” Mortimer replied with tears in his eyes.

Bambi Porksley quickly cleaned the dust off the mirror, put down her glass of Dom Perignon, and wiped the tears of her own eyes. She asked Mortimer, “What is it, my special, special boy?”

“The boys at school tease me for not being allowed to play football. They call me “
‘Pork,’ squeeze my breasts together, and threaten to make coitus with them after school,” Mortimer said.
“Oh, dear,” replied Bambi.
“Mother dearest, may I please play football?”
“Now Mortimer, you know how I feel about that dreadful, BRUTISH, sport. Further, you just simply are not athletic. Your father and I did not send you to the Chestershire Auxillary Academy for sports! You are to raise your grades from a C- so you can attend the University of Virginia,” said Bambi with authority.
“Please, mother! I don’t know how much more of this I can take,” yelled Mortimer, tears beginning to run down his ample cheeks.

Bambi, beginning to see through the haze of the pain killers she snorted combined with her 6th glass of champagne before 9:00 AM could clearly tell that her hefty son was in distress. She called for his father, Biff.

“Oh Biff!” called Bambi.
“Yes, my liege?,” replied Biff.
“Do make haste and come to my room, please,” Bambi said.

As Biff arrived to Bambi’s room (they did not share the master suite, and had not made love in several years), Bambi began to tell Biff what Mortimer had shared with her.

“Well, I will not have a son of mine playing sports,” Biff growled. “If he is being bullied, I shall write the headmaster at Chestershire and inform him that thugs are tormenting Mortimer! That shall put an end to this foolishness.”

Unfortunately, that letter from Biff never arrived in time. When Mortimer arrived at school that day, the bullies, led by Lionel Drake, forced Mortimer into the bathroom, quickly overpowered him, and performed various sexual acts on him before dunking his head into an unflushed toilet. Mortimer would never tell anyone that he secretly enjoyed the acts, and closed his eyes to picture his tormentors as the head coach of the New England Patriots - William Belichick.

Today was just the second overtime touchdown pass of Tom Brady's career, and his first since 2003, when he threw an 82-yard score to Troy Brown for a Patriots win.

OT throw to Troy Brown in 03

BRADY, PERRIMAN, BALLGAME.

Tonight's Bucs-Bills game had a combined 954 yards of total offense -- that ranks eighth in Bucs history, third-most in a Bucs win. Record is 1,023 yards combined, from a 1980 loss to Vikings. Doug Williams threw for 486 and four TDs in the loss.

Bucs, once the most penalized team in the NFL this sesaon, continue to show marked improvement there. In Sunday's win vs. Bills, just four flags for 24 yards, fifth straight game under 50 yards on penalties.

One more how-rare-is-this-win stat for Bucs: They gave up 466 yards to Bills, forced only one turnover. In their history before Sunday, 0-15 when giving up that many yards and one or zero turnovers.

Frankly, at this point, the Pats season would be a huge disappointment if they don't make it to the SB.
