OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Taylor won't be able to run on the Bucs like they did on the Bills. I'd like to think the same is true for the Pats. Won't be a gimme though

Well, unless Vita Vea is playing next week, I wouldn't bet on it.

Probably won't play tonight but he has a week to get healthy.

Looks like Gronk is playing tonight. He should help in the redzone and of course his blocking

Jason Pierre-Paul is definitely good for tonight -- if anything, he's practiced much more this week than in recent weeks. I'm confident that Rob Gronkowski will be able to go as well -- he was talking Friday like someone in good position to get back and play healthy again.

Neither the Bucs nor Giants have made their activations of players off injured reserve yet -- you'll see those before 4 p.m., so coming pretty soon. That's Murphy-Bunting and likely Miller on the Bucs' side, Thomas on the Giants' side ...

Inactives are always 90 minutes before kickoff, and with Bucs and Giants at 8:15, that means 6:45 for final word on who is and isn't active. We know Antonio Brown is out, and I'd expect Vita Vea to be as well. Gronkowski should be fine, and I think Murphy-Bunting will be active.

Carlton Davis hasn't returned to practice yet, so that's still a hurdle to clear before he comes off IR and returns to playing. He's been running on the side, so he's making progress. He hasn't played since Week 4 with his quad injury.

Arians seemed pleased with Scotty Miller's progress, and he needs to be activated off IR by Tuesday I believe, so it makes sense for him to be added to the roster today. For Bucs, comes down to adding Miller to the 53 or elevating Perriman and giving him another week to heal.

No update on Antonio Brown. I checked with the NFL today about their review of his vaccine card -- Bucs said they saw no irregularities with any player submissions -- and the league has no timetable for when they'll be finished with their review.

Funny how they miss SMB when in reality the dude wasn't great to begin with. That just shows what's lined up at DB for them this season...combine that with an over aggressive defensive style and you better get the lead early.

He's good in the slot. The one they do miss is Carlton Davis. He's actually really good maybe top 15 CB

I was referring to the Bills-Bucs game in 3 weeks - but yeah that probably wasn't clear.
