Why Not Us?

Most of the NFL "intelligentsia" still think Lawrence, Fields and Lance will all ultimately be better than Mac. Only Wilson is being discredited and then only because he has been "destroyed" by the Jets. Mac's success is credited to great coaching.

Mac came in like this. And has worked since day1 in Foxboro. Crappy OLine to good OLine doesn't mean he suddenly learned the deep ball.

.

To answer this thread seriously, why not the Pats? They could. I hope they do. But this is the same slow staff that sat good players and started crappy players for 6 weeks both this year and last year.

See the thing is if you bring it up I will gladly reply. By the way I haven't even brought up jm for awhile unless someone else asked me to reply, I've been focused more on defensive issues recently.

It’s weird, but they aren’t the only species that does that.

Just sayin’

A cold hard fact, nothing more.

You took your dog on a four minute walk?

@RobertWeathers I love this thread.

I'm all in.

They're getting better every week.

Each team starts the season with room to grow or build chemistry but this team started with a rookie QB, a bunch of free agents and drafted guys. They have the largest room to grow imo and they're growing unbelievably. What's the limit? I don't know but damn they have been kicking some ass.

This is a fun season. Super Bowl is definitely a possibility.

You called it first.

You know me.....i'm realistic but i'm not afraid to dream and believe.

Based on their current trajectory there is no reason why with the right seeding and matchups this team can't go to the AFC Championship.

In the Super Bowl anything can happen.

If this team made it to the Super Bowl I'd pick it over anyone because of BB. Getting there is the bigger challenge.

Considering that the Pats just had 2 of their top 10 biggest blowouts of all time in the past month, I don’t think it’s that crazy a thought. For context, they only had 8 blowouts in the top 10 (>38 points) in the entire Brady era. The only other time they had two blowouts in the top 10 in a season was in 2007.

A veritable cornucopia of complaints

No matter the outcome of this season or how sports talk idiots who loudly proclaimed how BB started the season as a HC who the game had passed by, did not know how to draft, evaluate talent or build a team.. no matter the outcome this team is freaking back, and back in full force.

So all you naysayers on whatever platform you choose to be on, STFU we are back...

The SB talk is a very nice vision, nothing is impossible.

Why not us? ... Exactly, why not us...

Keep improving, keep working and anything can happen... Afc seems like the weak sister conference this year... Two/three teams Baltimore, Buffalo and Tennessee... Followed up by an inconsistent kc...

We got a shot... Three games will decide the tie breakers... beat the teams we should beat, then go 1-0 two or three times vs the Ravens and bills and we punch our dance ticket... Once at the dance, anything can happen...

So indeed, why not us
