Any degenerates on this forum bet on preseason games? Why?

I would never bet on a preseason game, but I've got a friend who bets them, and he does really well. He's got a book of tendencies on every team.

Here's an example he gave me: the Chiefs will announce that for one game the starters will play the first half. What that actually means is that the starters will play until they score and Reid will pull them. So, for that one game he'll bet the first quarter on the Chiefs. He says that historically the starters will score within the first couple of drives because a) they're better than the other team and b) they want to get the hell off the field. It's not foolproof but it sure works for him

Again, hell would freeze over before I would bet on a preseason game but there are sharps who know what they're doing

Playing Devil’s advocate, Eli is top 10 in EVERY passing category, and was unfortunately a 2 time Super Bowl MVP. Even though I’m a Pat’s fan through and through, I feel Eli has the qualifications to be an NFL Hall of Famer.
