i've had it. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I was flat on my back for 2 weeks. nearly had to be hospitalized but my folks were around and took care of me. I was so short of breath I couldn't walk from the bedroom to the bathroom without pausing for breath and a water break twice. It was bad.

This was before the vaccines were out. Anything I have to do to never feel like that again, I'll do it.

I think I had it, was really short of breath for part of a night, was weird, couldn't get enough oxygen no matter how deep I breathed and lost my sense of taste and smell for like half a day. No fever, nothing else, just those two things. Need to get the antibody test.

I had covid about a month ago, I’m 38 and in good health, could lose about 10-15 pounds but i stay active in the gym few times a week.

I say this to people who ask me about it, worst part was losing my sense of taste, would rather have covid than an actual flu any day of the week.

You will get older and chances are heavier just based on what happens to most people as they age. Aging people are more vulnerable. Some day you may appreciate younger folks protecting you form contracting something debilitating or worse. Food for thought for our younger people that might be needlessly spreading spreading virus to older folks. Im not saying you because I don't know if you were vaccinated or not.

I think hes pointing out the hypocrisy of requiring a vaccine that becomes not that effective at protecting people that are barely at risk of severe covid in a matter of a few months.

Additionally, with allegations coming out thay Pfizer test labs falsified data and then they turn around and give an EUA not based on clinical trials for young kids but flawed data models, tells you all you needed to know about the profit motivation to get these out to market as quick as possible, consequences be dammed. But what do I know

You know better than that, just look around you. Most "older folks" have to get out and about by necessity just to live. And it's not a matter of being fearful, it's basic biology that the immune system's ability to fight things off declines with age.
