****** Official NFL regular season transactions and injuries thread ******

I certainly don't want to look like you. Thanks for the heads up. But how can I clown myself without your undeserved righteous indignation?
Continuing to defend your ignorant position related to due diligence is your right I suppose. The tweet had it right there in black and white, exactly what I said would happen but you continue to double down. Amazing.

It sounds absurd, but Florio suggested yesterday that OBJ may not have trade value so they could cut him and give teams the opportunity to claim his remaining contract on waivers instead. Or maybe this is nothing and he'll be back at practice tomorrow.

I am not denying the tweet. I posted my words and you continue misquote me. Again, here are the things I said on this (again, these were all under the assumption that the deal was basically a done deal and Watson was going to be traded by yesterday):

But this is why I would never touch Watson before his issues are resolved. Goodell could assure Stephen Ross that he will only give Watson a six game suspension or something like that but then in a month or two something explosive comes out about this and forces Goodell to give him a far harsher punishment. Or something with the Washington Team's sexual harassment case explodes and Goodell decides to make Watson a sacrificial lamb to show the league is tough on people who harass or assault women without Goodell being too harsh on one of the owners.

There is just way too much unknown here to risk what you would have to give up for Watson before all this plays out.

They haven't even started discovery or depositions yet. How could Ross remotely have enough information to know the outcomes. Civil cases can change dramatically based on what comes out of the discovery phase. Watson could be vindicated or turned into the next Harvey Weinstein or Bill Cosby in the public opinion after that. And no amount of due diligence right now is going to give you insight about how that is going turn out.

And I seriously doubt any prosecutor is going to discuss a case with a team owner who is looking to trade for the subject of his or her open criminal investigation.

I think you are give Stephen Ross too much credit. There is no way of knowing the outcome of all of this. If there was, there would be other teams bidding on Watson. Do you think Ross is smart enough to investigate this and know that Watson should be back by say midseason next year for sure and people in the Eagles' organization, Broncos' organization, Panthers' organization, or whatever other team's organizations interested in trading for Watson either haven't thought to check or couldn't get the same information Ross has?

My take is Miami is desperate to get a franchise QB. They know Watson's value is depressed right now and there is no other team bidding on him. And they think it is worth the risk that he will be back by at least midseason next year to get him at a reduced rate. They probably feel somewhat confident or hopeful that Watson will probably get a shorter suspension with what they know, but they cannot know for sure and they are playing the odds that the situation won't change over time.

And I don't care what Ross does for a living or how successful he is. There are so many variables that are unknown that he cannot possibly know them all. I mean even if Watson wants to settle, who knows if he could come to a deal with all 22 plantiffs. What if he is guilty and one or more of these women aren't motivated by money and just want their day in court and have a jury say that they were assaulted?

But since I posted all these post, new information came out that the deal wasn't imminent as it was portraying and Ross wouldn't trade until Watson settled his cases which meant there was never going be a deal. So I was commenting about false information.

But even then, I never actually said he would do his due diligence. I just said that there is no way Ross could know the results about the civil cases or criminal investigation no matter how much due diligence he did. And Ross agrees with me.

Again, you have you have never posted one shred of evidence that I said what you claim I said. So I will accept you apology even though you are not man enough to provide one.

If no one claims Hargreaves (who's had a terrible year), I could see BB kicking the tires to see what he has left. Was it just a scheme fit in Houston or was it something more?

You sound just like Andy, bending over backwards, moving goal posts, just to try to prove you were right all along when in fact you weren't.

There were settlement talks that didn't pan out. Obviously Ross knew that and the reason why there was talk at all. That's all part of due diligence. He insisted on the contingencies to cover his back in the event settlement wasn't succesful and when it wasn't he walked. That's all part of SOP in many deals. He saw an opportunity and "tied up" the deal with his offer. There was never any real risk.

Go back to doing business with rapists, you're good at that.

LOL! My goal post never moved. Your reading comprehension sucks.

If you don’t like what I post, go hide in the Tom Brady forum with the rest of you fake Pats fans who now root for the Bucs. You post there more than here anyway.

In the last week I've had 62 posts and 6 on the Brady thread (just to help you out w/ math, that's <10%). As usual, you're wrong again. I've been wondering why nobody calls you out on your atrocious takes but I finally figured out ppl are just sitting back and laughing at you. I think I'll do the same. Carry on, you're on a roll RobO. LMAO

Nah! They just let the arrogant idiots try to call me out. You see they are adults and realize acting like internet tough guys trying to call out other poster is childish behavior of people overcompensating for their own issues.

The Texans run a Patriots type defense, so if it is scheme, then NE would not be the place for Hargreaves.

Cowboys waive 2nd-year DE Bradlee Anae, while Fecals release LB Eric Wilson...

Gotta be better than Notso Wise & JaWrong Bentley/Jalopy Tavai...
