Dolphins Agree to Terms with Texans for Watson - Pending two key details...

So this means Tua is likely headed somewhere at some point...wonder where that somewhere might be...?
going to depend on what miami wants for him...

If it was a Patriot he's be suspended for a year already.

Speaking of which, im in a whatsapp group with buddies from college all steelers fans. When they had hopes of trading for Watson they were actually saying if kraft didn’t get suspended neither should Watson :rofl:

That's a reflection of the understanding of sexual subtly by people in Pennsylbama.

Why is there nothing about this from NFL 'media'? No tweets, nothing? Could they be bitter this was leaked to some outside sources? Or is it all BS?

I do question Tua's arm. He doesn't seem to have zip. I personally think Mac has way more arm strength. Not sure how you can succeed with a QB who can only throw 10 or less yards. Mac on the other hand I think can throw to the whole field, he has an excellent deep ball. Just because he goes 22 for 23 within 15 yards is not a negative, he can sling it if he needs to but why do so when the smart move is keep the chains moving constantly.

.
In college Tua had a hellva strong arm, he consistently threw 40-50 yards in the air.

I just don't think Miami coaches are setting him up to succeed.
Here is some of his best throws of 2018

I don't recall Tua's arm strength being an issue when he came out of the draft. It was always his injuries that were flagged.

Did Goodell really just say that they pride themselves on not interfering until police investigations are completed first?

This shows that even the Dolphins who are hot to get Watson think he is too toxic to trade for with his current situation. The odds are now pretty good that Watson doesn’t get traded until at least the first day of the 2022 NFL season and he doesn’t play all of 2021.

If the Dolphins stick to these requirements, there is no way the deal is going to get done by the trade deadline. If they drop these requirements, they are absolute morons.

Disappointing. But "dog water"? I thought the O-Line was rated about middle of the pack?
I don't know how they rated out personally, but it felt like "dog water" watching the beating Mac was taking. He had very little time to throw and they weren't generating much in the run game either. So truth be told I'm just going off personal feelings with that assessment.

The Finheaven consensus is Tua is a top 10-20 QB (depending who you ask) and Mac is bottom 5. They're also under the impression that Mac is benefitting from amazing offensive line play, so I don't think they're watching too much tape. The Bears forum I checked the same day also had people saying the same **** about Mac.
I'm reading Bears fans on twitter chirping about Mac. LOL. They sound insecure about their own QB.

Two completely different QBs in two completely different systems. If BB traded a high pick to move up for Fields he should have been fired immediately.

I still think the league will say no suspension approve the trade and let Watson play this year. It's their "hey look squirrel!" away from the emails.

Told you so.

I’m not understanding this. Miami is expecting his legal issues to be resolved first. There are 22 accusers in a civil case plus a criminal case and the trade deadline is next week. How is all that going to be resolved by then or does it not need to be?

Anything can be resolved pretty much instantly, it's just a matter of how much money one side wants and if the other is willing to pay that much.

This also could be trade posturing from the Dolphins. If reports are true that Houston is looking for three firsts (and then some) for Watson, this might be Miami's way of saying no way, not with these issues... but we can look past the legal uncertainty if it comes down to just a first and a second maybe? Basically, if they can "steal" Watson for a pittance, even if he doesn't play this year it's worth it going forward. Just remains to be seen (if the legal troubles do continue) whether Houston would take that bait or take a hard stance on their asking price.

Guys still pay fines for weed. Lol.

So in 4 days the Phins have to play the Bills in Buffalo, a loss clearly ends any hope they have for this season and this news comes out now!

I'm sure Tua is deep into the playbook and will be ready for this game. This is the signs of a really bad run organization, might as well make the trade and have Watson get suspended for the rest of the year and roll with Briskett.

You have to remember Miami's first round pick belongs to the Iggles, although Miami does have SF first rd pick, and extra 3rd and 4th rd picks and a bunch of 7th rd picks.

So if Miami tanks, the Iggles would be loving it! If Wentz plays more than 70% of the Colts snaps, they would get another first rd pick from the Colts (second if he doesn't take enough snaps) and their own pick which looks like it too is going to be in the top ten.

This news coming out now, really hurts the Phins.
