OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Lol…looks like Mahomes fanboys are now going through (or repeating) the process of Brady psychosis. Gotta love the level of desperation…this guy has gone though it now with stanning for Manning, Rodgers, and Mahomes.

Can someone decipher that tweet for me please?

The hit that Mahomes took yesterday is why QBs need to learn to stay in the pocket and get rid of the ball quickly. I thought he broke his neck.

One thing that I noticed about Mahomes this year is his inaccuracy when he needs to put a ball in the right place. Anyone can hit an open receiver (well, anyone but Tua) but it takes a GOAT to put the ball in the perfect place.

Brady in 27 games for the Bucs (including the playoffs):

71 TD's/18 INT

''That motherf****r'' in 38 games for the 49ers (including the playoffs):

53 TD's/31 INT

Brady's playoff run: 10 TD's/3 INT/1061 yards in 4 games

Jimmy's playoff run: 2 TD's/3 INT/427 yards in 3 games

Kyle Shanahan:

Brady-to-Evans for the 20th TD between them in less than season and a half. 22 total including playoffs.

Only Gronk (102), Edelman (41), Moss (40), Welker (38), Branch (28) and James White (27) have caught more. He will get into top 5 in a couple of games.
One of the more amazing Brady stats, and there are plenty of them, is that in his 20 years of playing QB, including this season which is only 40% complete and 2016 when he had 1/4 of his season stolen by the NYFL, he has averaged over 30 TDs and under 10 INTs per season.

I'm not surprised that Brady doesn't look as fired up as usual.

He won a ring with another team, beat the Pats at Gillette, got both the Yards and TD's records. He doesn't have anything to chase anymore, neither from an individual or from a team perspective. Even he can't conjure an angle to prove anything to anyone. He has solidified himself in every possible way.

Only thing that's left is playing good football and compete in the playoffs and the Bucs are in a really good position to do it.
There's one thing that's still on the table. If Brady can get to and win another SB, he'll be the only QB to go back to back since he did it in 03 and 04 with the Pats.

Speaking of Garropolo, I was listening to the radio this morning and they played a portion of a McCourty podcast when Marty Bennet called JG a b!tch QB that players didn't want to play with. There was something about JG backing out of a game just before it started. Since neither McCourty disputed that claim you have to think it was true. And that's the QB that Bill wanted to keep over Brady. WTF?!?

Apparently Peyton Manning took a vacation to Tampa recently

By the end of the season, he should be 2nd on their TD pass list and I doubt he will pass Winston (121). I would say at worst he will retire tied with Brad Johnson as the greatest Bucs QB ever, but I would think that most people would acknowledge Brady as the GOAT Bucs QB after next season. He is the greatest Bucs ever with another Superbowl win imo
Good chance Brady will pass Winston and be the Bucs TD leader. He had 40 last year and on pace for 50 this year. With all his weapons, 40 next year should be doable for a total of 130.

Brady will have to play at least 4 years in Tampa and average over 5000 yards to have a shot at passing Winston's 20704 yards.

And also Shanahan the offensive genius and the 49ers coaching staff. I'm surprised that Welker didn't pull for Brady more as their final evaluation of Brady was that they weren't impressed, meh, and JAG.

What an awful game JG had yesterday. He couldn't play half decent in the last 10 minutes of the SB. And again choked in the last few minutes of yesterday's very winnable game. Always going in and out of the lineup with various injuries. No wonder 49rs were desperate to trade up for a QB, who hasn't been very good either.

If Brady throws 15 more TDs this season he will reach 700 for his career (regular season + post season).

How about a little numbers game? I'll provide a couple of groups of numbers and see if you can tell me what they represent. It's kind of obscure so you can scroll down for the answer.

Group A
1) 114-93
2) 2-5-3
3) 0

Group B
1) 56-40
2) 8-4-1
3) 1

Group A is the combined record for the Indiots and Ratbirds since they started the deflategate lie.
1) is the regular season record
2) is playoff wins-losses-one and dones
3) is SB wins
Group B is their same totals for the 3 years prior to the lie.

Just another pair of crap teams that Brady broke.

absolutely Brady looks bored - it is weird seeing it. I guess there wasn’t much of a challenge today. But I have felt it the last few games.
The last few games have been cakewalk with early big leads.

Later in games like these, he won't stand in the pocket and take big hits. Some of his off throws are actually Brady just getting rid of the ball. He won't risk sacks, fumbles, and interceptions.

We've seen many times over the years Brady playing this way with large leads over inferior competition.

It can be frustrating, cause these are the type of games Manning and Brees use to pile on the stats, while Brady basically shuts down in the 2nd half.

Brady producing anothe half a million dollar ball. Imagine being the next fan getting that ball and being asked to give it back knowing how much it is worth.

Mahomes is seeing his campaign to be the heir apparent go up in flames.

This is not to say he isn’t one of the best QBs in the league. It’s to say maybe it’s not quite reasonable to just assume he’ll win another 6 Super Bowls just because.

He definitely needs to change his style of play. He can keep the hero ball maybe once or three times a game but he does it all the time when the flat is literally wide open

Nick Wright shouldn't even have a job. It's amazing how a few of these guys have a job simply by playing the Brady hate card. KC may still win the division. Does anyone trust the Raiders? I have a feeling we will beat the Chargers next week and KC will obliterate the Giants.
