OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

1 3rd down the entire drive. So efficient.

This Tampa offense is a perfect fit for him with a cerebral Qb like Brady. On Jim Gray, Brady called him a football genius. No wonder he hated playing with Ben.

The Steelers offense doesn’t really run plays. Ben dances around in the backfield buying time for someone to get open.

He should but they’re going to give Allen the benefit of the doubt since it’s his first. Brady will have to finish far ahead of him with his stats.

Sherman hamstring, Brown ankle. Wonder what else will happen tonight?

I missed a bit. What's that about Brown? I was afraid about that with Sherman. 3rd game for him after just 2 weeks with the team.

Troy with his last "big drive" by the Eagles lol

Aikman was embarrassing with his open rooting for the Eagles all game.
Count him in the bitter pit with Montana.

Bucs defense gave up just 213 total yards, it won’t be fair if they get any s.hit for this game going forward. They were fine. The problem was that the offense completely stalled out in the 4th, probably because of Brady’s thumb because he stopped throwing downfield.

Eh. The PI calls were the game changers. The Eagles also ran on them in the 4th.
I don't think Brady's thumb was bothering him at all. The deep balls weren't there. The 4th and 2 play was an embarrassment. They should have run there.

My mistake about Brown. I didn't watch the game and my ******* friends in a group chat said he hurt his ankle.

Have you noticed how bitter Bradshaw, Montana, and Aikman have become toward Brady?

He went out for a bit but came back after a few plays.

They can't wait for him to retire. They've been talking about him for 20+ years. Lol
They'll probably retire Bradshaw from the booth before Brady. He looks terrible.

Do the secondary injuries ever end? If Sherman has a pulled hamstring, that would be a 2-3 week injury?

I like the call, but should have been a run or a short pass. There was at least another 3 and 2 type situation where Brady missed on a 20 yards or so down the field. It has to be the play calling cause the Bucs have done that a ton since Brady came, while you'd almost never have seen that when he played in NE.

Bucs have actually missed quite a few of those throws in those situations but it doesn't seem to ever cost them. But it does make the game close.

There were a lot of short stuff and screens today...maybe the deep passes weren't there tonight

It did seem like it although I missed much of the 1st half where the Box score looked great.

The 4th quarter was not good for the Bucs. They stopped using Lenny, playcalling was odd, and Brady's throws were off. Evans seems to dissapeared for stretches but AB was there for the clutch catch in the final drive.

they were checking on him he was hurt but came back in a couple plays later
